Situated on a hillside overlooking the historic St. Ann’s bay, the Old Trail cabin is conveniently located just 5.5km from the start of the Cabot trail and the Gaelic College.A great spot to start or finish your Cabot Trail adventures!The cabin is designed to feel as open and airy as possible for a small space. All amenities needed are only 15 mins away in Baddeck.- Please note that there is no oven/range in the cabin however there is a Bbq for your use.The Old Trail cabin sits just off the original Cabot Trail. The old road is now a walking path that leads to the Lewis mountain multi use trail. Although it is encouraged that screen time be replaced with socializing, games, star gazing and good old fashioned getting outdoors. But not to worry if you are uncomfortable with it, there is ample flat parking 50ft away.Due to its location and the ladder stairs leading to the loft, the cabin is not wheelchair accessible and anyone with mobility issues should also be aware of these obstacles.
