A lovely renovated mansion with a real feel for days gone by. Clean, very comfortable with lovely linen. Good breakfast and our host, Andrew, was helpful. The position was good - close to the waterfront and Washington Street with a good brewery and rooftop restaurant nearby. An excellent experience in downtown Vicksburg.

Our second time to visit, and we would have visited sooner but no vacancy when we were last in town because I failed to call in advance. The good: This is a place you want to visit-central location in Vicksburg, beautiful completely restored and renovated fine old house, and a great host. Andrew seems like someone you have always known, is a joy to visit with, and happy to share his substantial knowledge of the area. The bad: Absolutely nothing. Like visiting an old friend. BTW-breakfast is splendid!

How do you say wonderful, relaxing, family visit? 4 words, Bazsinsky House and Andrew. From the moment we arrived until we said our good-byes we felt as though we had been on a family visit. Andrew was very accommodating to all our needs. Comfortable and very relaxing. Within walking distance to several downtown attractions. Want to experience southern charm, stay at the Bazsinsky House. Want to relax as though you were at home , stay at the Bazsinsky House. Breakfast served is 5 star worthy. Andrew is 5 star worthy. If you go say hello to Andrew and be prepared to book your next visit. We have.

If you’re planning a trip to Vicksburg, MS, I highly recommend staying at Bazinsky House bed and breakfast. Upon our arrival, the delightful host, Andrew, made my fiancé’ and I feel warmly welcomed. The home is decorated impeccably with antiques and exquisite furnishings yet has an elegant laid-back charm. We felt as if we were part of the family when in the common areas and also enjoyed the private coziness of our wing upon retiring for the night. Opulent home with down home southern charm. Our room was spacious, elegant and comfortable. The home is easy walking distance to all the town’s sights. Andrew, our host, provided excellent dining and activity recommendations. Breakfast was delicious with a bit of something for everyone, no matter what your taste.

My husband and I stayed here after touring the Vicksburg Military Park. We were traveling back home to Minnesota. We wish we could have stayed more than 1 night. We will definitely go back when we are in the area. Andrew was a perfect host and very informative of the history of the area and the home. He made us feel so welcome. The room was very spacious, beautiful, and the bed was very comfortable. He prepared a plentiful, delicious breakfast for us to enjoy. We highly recommend staying here. Andrew provides many brochures for guests, on places to see, and things to do.

This 1861 home has been lovingly restored and is in a great location. Shopping, sites and restaurants are walkable. The host Andrew goes out of his way to be helpful and accommodating . The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Go back in time and treat yourself because you will sleep well here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Andrew is a wonderful, knowledgeable host and made us a delicious breakfast. The home is beautiful and full of period antiques. We plan to return when we are in the area. The town of Vicksburg has a lot of historical sites.

If you want the nicest, friendliest host with a fabulous house and a great location, you want to stay here. From the time we checked in until the time we left, Mr. Andrew makes you feel like you’re at your own home. The rooms are huge with a beautiful view from large windows. We will be back!
