Very nice hostel, a short bus ride from all major attractions. It would be a 15-20 min. walk. The communication was excellent. Check-in is until 20:00. I arrived later and they provided me with the codes to enter the building and room. I felt very welcome! The ambiance is amazing. The reason I am not giving it 5 stars is that they forgot to provide me with a towel (which was a problem because their reception is closed after 20:00) and the WIFI was extremely bad. While in the room, WIFI was so bad I had to use mobile roaming when the internet connection was non-existant for several hours.

This hostel is a delight. The owner was so friendly and helpful for this mature traveller who missed her train and arrived late. The hostel closes at 9pm. I had already experienced a cancellation from another hostel where I arrived after closing time so was really anxious that I would not have a place to sleep. Anna assured me I had a place to sleep and provided me with the code to enter. The hostel is bright, clean with large bedrooms, shared kitchen with free food, with tea and coffee. There is a patio out back to relax in the beautiful sunshine. She assisted me to catch the correct bus so I wouldn't miss my trip to Austria. My only regret was that I couldn't stay longer. Can’t really complain, it’s a nice hostel with friendly staff (and a cat!), a good kitchen, clean and comfy rooms. They let us check in early and leave our bags by the front desk. The garden is lovely although it was infested with mosquitos, so unusable for me, so bring bug spray if you come! The downstairs games room seemed to be out of use. We had two showers and one toilet in a room of 8. Air con is quiet and works well. The lockers were too small for our standard-sized travel backpacks (40L and 70L), which was a bit frustrating. It’s a little far away from the town centre, but if you’re happy to walk it’s good value for money, a great hostel option in Verona. 🐈‍⬛🇮🇹🏡📍

Situato in posizione un po' decentrata, ma comunque a 15 minuti dal centro storico con di fronte un supermercato. Camere ampie da 6 o 8 letti a castello, dotate di bagno, armadietti per gli effetti peronali e aria condizionata. Cucina comune attrezzata e con tè, caffè, biscotti a disposizione degli ospiti. Apertura portone d'ingresso e porta della camerata con codice.

Quando un’attività è gestita da persone che sono appassionate di viaggi e che hanno esperienze in tal senso il risultato non può che essere positivo. Qui sanno bene ciò che il cliente si aspetta e di cui ha bisogno e così il cliente trova già tutto (o quasi) predisposto per quelle che possono essere le sue esigenze. Accoglienza, approccio amichevole ma rispettoso, simpatia, tanto per cominciare. Più nella concretezza una cucina comune ben tenuta e ben attrezzata; caffè tè e tisane sempre a disposizione; camere ordinate e pulite, con bagni interni in comune solo per gli occupanti della camera. Gli armadietti non sono molto grandi ma sono dotati di chiavi. I letti hanno tutti punti luce e corrente vicini. Atmosfera cordiale e giovanile in cui si può trovare comunque bene anche un adulto (come nel mio caso). Posizione strategica, non lontana dal centro che puoi raggiungere con una breve, piacevole camminata (15 minuti). Nella zona dell’ostello trovi comunque tutto: negozi, bar, ristoranti di tutti i tipi. Zona vivace sia di giorno che dopocena, comunque tranquilla. Se arrivi in auto, fuori Porta Vescovo (a 500 metri a piedi dall’ostello) trovi facilmente in strada all’aperto parcheggi sia a pagamento (a basso costo) che gratuiti. Alloggio ideale sia per visitare la città, sia per frequentare i concerti all’Arena, sia come base per vedere i dintorni di Verona. Prezzi per la città di Verona convenienti, anche se a mio personale avviso questo genere di strutture dovrebbero costare un po’ meno.
