Das Hotel liegt ruhig und in der Natur gelegen in einer angenehmen Lage. Entspannung vor der Hoteltür. Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und das Personal außerordentlich freundlich. Man kann das Zentrum gut zu Fuß erreichen. Das Hotel ist für alle Naturliebhaber sehr empfehlenswert und gut gelegen um Spaziergänge in der Natur zu starten.

Hotel Van der Valk Venlo - GPS – unverbindlich - : 51.395144° Breite, 6.172926° Länge - Lage: ca. 1.200 Meter Luftlinie von der Maas entfernt. - Gebuchte Zimmerkategorie: DeLuxe Zimmer/Kammer - Schnelles Check-In und freundliches Personal Zufahrt: Stellplatzzugang mit automatischer Kennzeichen Detektion. Das elektronische Schranksystem erkennt über/mit KI anscheinend autonom/automatisch, welcher Pkw mit welcher Berechtigung rein- und raus fahren darf und steuert die Schranken entsprechend. Bei der Ersteinfahrt muss man anscheinend jedoch einmalig eine Parkkarte ziehen und sich bei der Rezeption damit melden. Wohnraum: Sehr große bodentiefe Fenster mit hervorragender Lärmdämmung im 10ten Stockwerk mit Panoramablick. Der geräumige Tresor war kinderleicht zu bedienen. Ein Bügelbrett mit Bügeleisen war an der Wand im Eingangsbereich arretiert. Kreisrunder Riesen-Wand- Ganzkörperspiegel (Durchmesser ＞ 100 cm) im Eingangsbereich. Die Toilette war vom üppig großen Waschbecken im Wohnraum-Zimmer und der Duschzelle räumlich/baulich getrennt. Der Duschbereich befand sich am Rand/Ecke des Zimmers in einer gläsernen Duschzelle. Ein Föhn war vorhanden. 2 Handtücher und 2 Badetücher standen zur Verfügung. Die Duschzelle hatte eine Regendusche. Die Eingangstür der Dusche war leider unten undicht. Es gab eine Kaffeemaschine und einen sehr sauberen Schnellkochtopf für Wasser. Großes Doppelbett, rechts und links je eine Lampe und je ein Lese Spot, mit direkter Aussicht auf Venlo vom Bett aus. Flach TV mit deutschen Fernsehprogrammen. Schöne und moderne Möblierung. Gepolsterter Ecksitzbereich mit Tisch für ca. 2 Personen. Leider war nur ein Schaukelstuhl mit einem Rundtisch direkt am Panoramafenster vorhanden. Es war eine Klimaanlage vorhanden, welche im Betriebszustand eine Geräuschkulisse von 30 dB verbreitete (gemessen mit einer Smartphone-App). Ebenso war ein Kühlschrank vorhanden. Bar: Freundliche Bedienung. 4 Euro für eine Pommes/Fritten Portion war trotz des bescheidenen Volumens angemessen, wenn man berücksichtigte, dass man sich in einem Hotel und nicht an einer Frittenbude als Gast aufhielt. Ich glaube aber nicht, dass viele davon satt werden. Frühstück: Qualitativ und quantitativ empfand ich das Frühstück als SEHR GUT! Fazit: Meiner Meinung nach eines der besten Hotels der Van der Valk Gruppe.

Tolles Haus, schöne Umgebnung, bestens geeignet für einen Kurztrip aus dem Ruhrgebiet. Auch für Golfer zu empfehlen. Das Restaurant hat eine wirklich gute Küche. Die Preise für das Zimmer - auch für den Wein beim Essen - sind eher etwas überhöht!
