Ca' Santo Spirito B&B

Great B&B on side street next to the Canal. The Owner Veronica was most obliging and helped in many matters. We had a lovely room with a very good continental breakfast. Can highly Recommend. Just behind the B&B is a church where one can pick up a Gondola to cross the Grand Canal to Marco Polo Square for only €2.

This B&B is a beautiful old building (actually 2 buildings) well situated in the Dorsoduro neighborhood of Venice, not far from Peggy Guggenheim. The area is a bit less hectic than central Venice, and is relatively quiet but still close to artistic shops and good restaurants. The room was comfortable, impeccably decorated, with a modern roomy bathroom. The breakfasts were plentiful and delicious, served in a cozy eating area, hosted by a friendly helpful couple, Alessandro and Veronica. This is a small B&B, so feels very intimate and warm. Tip: ask for a first floor room if you don’t like walking upstairs!

Look no further -- this is the perfect place to stay in Venice. The location is great -- a quiet street in the Dorsoduro, a short walk from the Zaterre vaporetto stop and a few minutes from the Grand Canal, where you can get a traghetto to the other side (distances are deceptive on a map -- remember, Venice is very small). The building is old and historic, but the room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with a fully updated bathroom. The breakfast buffet is excellent, and Veronica is a warm, attentive, and efficient host. We really enjoyed our stay there -- highly recommended.

Ca Santo Spirito is a perfect hidden gem in Venezia. Far from the hussle and bussle but still close to shops and restaurants and a few steps from the canals. Easy access to the vaporetto and Academia bridge, which takes to Piazza Marco and the city central areas. We were welcomed by Veronica who showed us our spotless room and gave us precious tips. Lovely stay. Would definetly go back!

Just perfect! Spent 3 nights in July 21, wife and 3 kids (10, 9, 3 y.o.) and it's the perfect place to enjoy the magic of Venice. Far from crowded and noisy routes, logistically perfectly placed, you reach everywhere within minutes (included a market Conad). Veronica, Sandro and their staff are amazing hosts. You can clearly appreciate the hard work they put in to make everything perfect for your stay. Breakfast is superb, rooms clean and stylish. They were full of ideas and activities that gave our kids the time of their lives (venetian rowing lessons, treasure hunt, amazing restaurant nearby, secret shopping spots). They made us feel like we were living as Venetians do, with our best mates showing us around the most amazing place in the world, Venice. So, be good with them and maybe, just maybe, you'll deserve to see that magic too.
