Hotel is in forest area 25 km from center of Rome and having many rooms (around 60 ). We liked the space they have outside-taking fresh air and walk around. Rooms are comfort and normal space as needed. Personnel were very friendly and helping for anything needed ,Sabrina &Annalisa served us. Breakfast is typically italian ( sweety dishes) only cheese&ham is salty. Be careful if you ask for other things you could be charged(i.e eggs ). Ask well before ordering. Price of the room in respect to distance from Rome is ok, 120 eur for triple. Take a visit to lake Albano, 10 min close to the hotel

Meine Frau und ich blieben hier für ein langes Wochenende im Mai 2023. Wir waren aufgrund früherer Bewertungen ein wenig besorgniserregend, aber es war gut und gut für das Geld, vor allem im Vergleich zu den Unterkunftspreisen in Rom. Das Zimmer war grundlegend und sauber, aber sicherlich nicht fantastisch --- unser Blick auf den See war wunderschön. Das Frühstück war auch gut, aber nichts Besonderes. Die meisten Hotelpersonal waren hilfsbereit, obwohl wir zweimal Probleme mit dem Personal hatten, um uns einen Taxi zu bekommen. Das Hotel liegt in etwas entfernter Lage, so dass wenn Sie kein Auto haben, müssen Sie wirklich vorwärts planen, um ein Taxi zu bekommen, da sie nicht rund um die Straße und Uber nicht in Castel Gandolfo arbeiten.

Tatty, grubby Gemeindebereiche mit schmutzigen Teppichen und schmutzigen Wandpapier. Der Weg nach unten zum See ist zu überwachsen, um dort hinunter zu kommen. Eingang ist durch eine entbeinte Bar, dann einige kleine Zimmer mit unvergleichbaren alten Möbeln in eine kleine Lobby. Der Mann hinter dem Büro schien überrascht zu sehen, und gab uns einen Schlüssel ohne Erklärung, wo das Zimmer war oder andere Informationen. Das Zimmer war geräumig und sauber, aber sehr altmodisch - wir hatten einen Blick auf den See, den wir zusätzlich 20 Euro zu zahlen hatten, oben auf dem 120 Euro Zimmerpreis, der zu hoch war für den Standard - es war die teuerste Übernachtungsstop unserer 5-wöchigen Tour und Das schlimmste war. Kleine Flachstaub jede und schlechte Sound-Isolierung, die bedeutete, dass wir wach gehalten wurden bis 330 am von einem Älteren Wohnsitzer Radio. Das Restaurant war der beste Teil des Aufenthaltes - es ist in einem Glasbereich, der den See überblickt und ist modern und modern. Das Essen war erstaunlich - wirklich hochwertig, aber durch den totalen Mangel an Atmosphäre wurde verstört, da wir die einzigen, die neben 2 älteren Einwohnern essen, die kurz geblieben waren. Auch der Service war glatt. Wir waren die ersten Leute im Restaurant und es dauerte 75 Minuten für unseren ersten Kurs und eine weitere Stunde für die beiden anderen Kurse. Es ist schade, dass ein solcher talentierter Koch irgendwo arbeitet, wo er nicht geschätzt werden kann. Dieser Ort könnte mit seiner Nähe zu Rom, seiner Nahrung und seiner Position erstaunlich sein.

I stayed here for 3 nights in August along with a number of others on a language programme! Whilst my room wasn’t the best (air con non existent and no covering on my ground floor bathroom window 😮) the Villa with all its history was a captivating place to stay! The food was great and the pool area was a welcome and refreshing respite from the heat of extremely hot August days! The staff were lovely and very welcoming and special thanks to Julia for her very cheerful disposition! 👍👍

We arrived late at night needing two rooms for four people as our plane was so late landing it was not safe to drive the three hours to our destination. Mihail was on the desk and was the most helpful and attentive and dealing with the additional needs of the guests. We had not prebooked we just found it on google maps and chanced it as it was so late. I am glad we did, i would certainly stay again

Arrivando a Valmontone per visitare l’outlet ci siamo trattenuti fino a tardi e abbiamo deciso di restare in paese. Trovare un albergo sembrava impresa difficile invece abbiamo avuto la fortuna di trovare posto all’Hotel Magnolia. Gente veramente amichevole soprattutto il titolare Diego Cianfoni. Stanza pulitissima e la mattina una eccellente colazione

Ieri io e mio marito ci siamo sposati lì un posto meraviglioso che viene reso magico dalle persone che lavorano e che mettono anima e cuore e soprattutto passione in ciò che fanno rendendo ogni momento indimenticabile.Carlo Francesco e tutto lo staff sono loro i veri angeli che con il loro modo professionale ma puro rendono ogni momento indimenticabile Ottimo il mangiare posto super ma soprattutto loro lo staff dalla sala alla cucina a tutte le persone che ci lavorano. We stayed at this lovely little hotel for 10 nights. We chose Serpa because it gives excellent access to Rome, only an hour away by train from the nearby station Marechiaro. British visitors will be astonished at the low fares and efficient service that Trenitalia offers. We recommend using Trainline to book tickets. Travel into Anzio town and nearby Nettuno is also easy on the local buses, and there’s plenty to see and do. We thoroughly recommend the two beachhead museums and the Anglo-US cemeteries are well worth a visit. It pays to download the free Cotral app to get real-time bus schedules. Practicalities aside, we were very pleased with the service Serpa provides. The hotel is spotlessly clean, and the sea view from the balcony rooms is commanding. The aircon is free and very efficient; there are abundant charging points; the shower is excellent; plenty of storage space, and the bed was comfortable with linen changed every day. Our only criticism is that the Wi-Fi signal is patchy and sometimes erratic, especially if you are outside. Breakfast is served in a dedicated area, and though not sumptuous, the fare on offer is varied and tasty with excellent fresh coffee on request. The reception staff are also extremely helpful (our thanks to Carlotta, Ryan, Paul and Bernadette for their superb service.) Serpa does not have a pool or a bar, although you can order drinks at Reception and add the bill to your room tab. There’s a small supermarket up the hill about 10 minutes away, and a variety of eateries within easy walking distance. So if you are planning to lap up the delights of Rome, or maybe explore the history of the 1944 Anzio landings, Serpa Hotel will not disappoint.
