Hotel Concorde

The room size was OK and there was a safe, fridge, balcony and a hair dryer. However the toiletries were very poor, there was no kettle. The carpets were manky, the bathroom was very poor and many items need to be replaced. The door frame was water damaged, the mirror needs replacing, the shower tray needs replacing, the air con unit in the ceiling was exposed and made lots of noise. Water was dripping from underneath the washbasin, so your feet get wet as you use the washbasin. This hotel is in desperate need of upgrading. The breakfast was OK with a reasonable selection of food.

This was a well situated hotel, decor was very 70s. Beds comfy. Parking isn't fabulous even though we were told we could park outside. But it was a public holiday when we were there. Receptionist was very helpful. And the bathroom even had bath salts.

Our review is a bit late - but better late than never as they say. We visited Veliko Tarnovo over the holidays and spent NYE weekend with friends and family at this amazing boutique hotel. The location of the property was very convenient, and the views were absolutely gorgeous ( rooftop restaurant/venue where breakfast was served is a must ). The hotel is very quiet, tucked away from the bustling streets - but yet very close to all main tourist attractions. The rooms were exceptionally well appointed, comfortable, well equipped with all the amenities you could ask for, and then some - beds were very comfy and the rooms were very clean (the hotel was very clean and well maintained). The interior design and furnishings overall were very trendy. Lovely lighting throughout the hotel. Customer service from check-in to check-out was top notch - staff speaks multiple languages, which is not very common for hotels in Bulgaria. The food was also fantastic, and you can tell the chef and his entire team take pride at what they do. The entire stay was perfect in every possible way and we will definitely stay again. 10/10!!!
