Sehr nett zu Hause . Der Ort ist ziemlich von den großen Achsen entfernt. Parkplatz vor jedem Haustier. Die Wohnung ist wunderschön, gut geplant und komfortabel, Zimmer mit einem riesigen Bett, ein Badezimmer mit Doppelwaschbecken, ein Badezimmer auf der einen Seite und eine Dusche auf der anderen.die gut ausgestattete Küche und ein großer Balkon mit Blick auf den Golf. Sehr gut Aufenthalt! Wir haben uns nur für eine Nacht bedauert.

Moved from Aix-En to this property in La Pontet, outside Avignon. The hosts made us feel very welcome on arrival and the owner was always extremely friendly. The rooms are very spacious and the staff especially Thomas and Helena were fantastic. This property is probably due for a major facelift, the pool area had ****s growing everywhere. the gardening staff need to lift their game bigtime, the biggest downside is you are a 30 Euro taxi ride away from the village, so everytime you go and come back you are 60 Euro lighter, why they don't run a shuttle is bewildering. We ate at the restaurant the food was fantastic, expensive but very nice. They don't have a bar you can sit in the afternoon, which is also a downside for me. Breakfast was ok As i said i would only rate this property 4 star. Thanks Gavin

Direkt am Autobahn und Sie sind in einer gewerblichen Zone, die überall sein könnte. Was schön ist über dieses gegate Hotel ist, dass es wenige Kontakte von Provence in den Außenseite Sitzbereiche, komplett mit Wasserfunktionen. Es gab viele kostenlose Parkplätze auf dem Hotel, und obwohl es eine Zuzahlung für die Nutzung der Freizeitanlage (klein Pool, Heizung, Sauna und Dampfraum), war es großartig, diese Option nach einer langen Fahrt für uns zugänglich zu haben. Das Restaurant wurde während unseres Aufenthalts (Covid Zeiten) geschlossen, aber es scheint viele Optionen in der Gegend und 15 Minuten von Avignon zu sein. Die Zimmer sind motel-ähnlich und ein bisschen wie Container, so dass wir nicht wirklich Geräusche aus der Straße hören konnten, wir konnten die Lautsprecher und Fernsehsender bis 3am hören, obwohl das Hotel ihr Bestes getan hat, um Menschen zu bitten, ruhig zu sein. Alles in allem, wenn Sie irgendwo gerade am Autobahn suchen und nicht um das Mangel an Charakter, dann ist dieser Ort gut. Das Personal war auch super freundlich und hilfreich.

Da unter der Terrasse eine Kleidung ist (außerhalb des Hotelgebiets), ist es sehr schwierig, zu essen. Die Gästezimmer mit der Küche, die Küchengeräte und das Wasserfeld von Avini scheinen fest zu sein und sind überall sehr komfortabel. Auch hier ist sehr sauber und sehr gut. Es ist ein Witzpunkt, ohne Gepäck zu speichern, nachdem Sie sich aus dem Zimmer verlassen haben. Die Rezeption öffnet nicht die Tür draußen, also beachten Sie.

Das Hotel ist insgesamt super: Service, Ausstattung, Lage - da passt alles! Aber der Reihe nach: Das Parkhaus ist absolut ausreichend und es ist sehr komfortabel, dass es direkt unter dem Hotel ist. Preislich auch absolut in Ordnung. Beim Check-In in der schönen Hotellobby wird man von super freundlichem Personal begrüßt und wir haben eine prima erste Tour vorgeschlagen bekommen. Mit Hamza hatten wir ohnehin jeden Abend sehr viel Spaß und er hatte immer viele Tipps für die Erkundung der Stadt, Restaurants und auch Ausflugsziele in der Umgebung von Avignon. Wir haben auch dank ihm immer sehr gut gegessen und nicht das Gefühl, etwas verpasst zu haben. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig, sauber und praktisch ausgestattet. Trotz Fenster zur Straße, war es sehr ruhig. Die Zimmer wirkten modern und die Einrichtung hat uns auch stilistisch sehr gut gefallen. Das Frühstück fand coronabedingt nicht in buffetform statt, sondern nach Reservierung am Vortag mit Bedienung. Die Auswahl war dennoch ausreichend und das Essen war lecker. Da wir in dem Urlaub insgesamt fünf Hotels besucht haben, muss ich sagen, dass uns im Avignon Grand Hotel im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels definitiv das beste Frühstück geboten wurde. Die Anpassung an die Situation war also vorbildlich. Fazit: Avignon ist definitiv eine Reise (wenn nicht sogar mehrere) wert. Wenn wir noch einmal nach Avignon reisen, dann geht es definitiv wieder ins Grand Hotel!

Das war zweifellos einer der größten Aufenthalte, die ich je hatte, und es ist alles dank der erstaunlichen Mitarbeiter und der erstaunlichen Einrichtung, die uns gehostet hat. Unsere Reise war ausgezeichnet aufgrund der heißesten und hilfreichsten Begrüßung vom Vorderbüro-Betreuer (Ich glaube, sein Name war Teva), der eine unerwartete, aber wunderbare Überraschung in dieser Gastfreundschaft Welt, die immer mehr die Fähigkeiten und das Engagement, dass dies Das Hotel ist sehr gut, das Design und die Komfort sind sehr gut, aber auch das Personal ist sehr willkommen.

We celebrated my wifes 50th birthday at the Château des Fines Roches. The chateau is just amazing! Really beautiful and special with just amazing surroundings. To open the room window in the morning and look over the valley is really nice. The staff is excellent and service minded. Whatever we needed help with, or the preparation, some things I've ordered in advance for the birthday was just perfect. They even made sure the sommelier experience worked with our dates, although the initial response was that the dates didn't match. Just perfect customer service! We also had dinner which was an excellent experience as well. BIG thank you to everyone that helped us during our stay. A happy memory for life and you really made my wifes 50th birthday special!

In a wonderful position next to the river but a great disappointment . The hotel room was good but the food in the restaurant was inedible and I suggest if you stay there you eat elsewhere . It was a very badly balanced set menu as I sat down to read it My heart sank as I had been looking forward to the dinner My wife had was what was called Tarte tartin of vegetables it was a tasteless cold mush and was left unfinished Main course was the dish of the day described as duck with home made French fries I would be very very surprised that they were home made if they were the chef had done a good job in making them look and taste just like frozen chips the duck was stewed and again inedible and tasteless I had Foie Gras OK but just cut off a roll of supermarket Foie Gras or again well disguised to look and taste like it had been bought from a supermarket I was then left with a very limited choose for the main course I did not want Maigre the hamburger was vegetarian the beef was an extra €16 on the B menu so went a la Carte and chose a very small dried up trout with masses of artichokes as the only vegetable It was not worth risking the desserts clearly nobody could cook We wanted to relax after our “dinner “ in a bar or lounge There was a bar but no seats we were directed to what they called the salon it was in fact just two plastic chairs at the end of a restaurant that was enormous and had no charm The dining area had been set for perhaps 100 Wisely only About 8 people had heard the warning with nowhere to sit we had to go to our room We had left our lovely home to stay away a night and ended up in really no more than a motel with empty restaurant poor food and I have to say friendly staff who I am sure were looking forward to closing for the winter We very wisely cancelled our second booked night and left

Great hotel on good location with fantastic breakfast. Hotel is just up the hill in a lovely small town of Villeneuve just across the river from Avignon. The small town is perfect with restaurants and a small grocery store. We brought our bikes which was a perfect setup. The Hotel is beautiful set up with a very spacious approach, multiple ground floor common rooms, a massive garden and a huge pool area (which was closed due to cold temperatures in April). Breakfast was really good, not sure what the other reviews were complaining about.
