Casablu Hotel

My wife and I and our two adult children stayed at CasaBlu for three nights, including the night of New Year's Eve 2025. We loved it. The hotel is a converted historic home with extensive, beautiful details and many cultural objects throughout. Everything is in excellent condition. We had rooms #6 and #7, which were spacious, and had exceptional views of the entire bay below. The hotel has both a first-floor common living room, and a third-floor lounge area. The third floor also has a large terrace with the same exceptional views as our rooms. Below the first floor is a dining area that opens to a lovely garden patio. The included breakfast was substantial, including eggs made to order. The atmosphere was wonderfully relaxed, the hospitality of the staff was warm and helpful, and the location - up on the hillside - was perfect for access to everything. The view of the NYE fireworks was perfect, and the party the hotel hosted for the occasion boasted generous food and alcohol. In short, we would highly recommend CasaBlu for any visit to Valparaiso.

Great host from the get-go for our introduction to Valparaiso. Helpful throughout the stay-- accommodating early arrival, taking interest in our group member's running race. and providing multiple, relaxing common spaces. Convenient location. Even with our limited Spanish, we could communicate with staff and they were eager to help us.

We really enjoyed our short stay at this hotel. The inside decor is fun and funky. There is a GREAT balcony on the third floor with wonderful views of the harbor. The rooms were pleasant with nice bathrooms. Breakfast was excellent - lots of variety and good service. The members of the hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. It is in a good location in the old city. (Be prepared for hills!!)

Quite possibly the best hotel of my life. And I've stayed at some of the world's best. Fantastic room. Incredible views. Nice breakfast. And the second floor balcony is large enough you could live there. Awesome place to wait for a cruise after a noon checkout. Staff is beyond helpful. Advice was spot on. Printed pages for us. Recommended a great restaurant.

The room we had was spectacular with a view of the ocean directly from the bed and a view of the sidewalks on the other side. Tons of windows. Owner was super friendly and the manager was excellent at helping with transport and suggestions of where to eat. Celebrating the New Year was a distinct pleasure. We were served alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to our hearts content and the homemade food, including ceviche, quiche, cheese, olives, etc. was a lovely touch. Going up to the terrace to ring in the new year at midnight (along with the customary eating of the 12 grapes - supplied by the hotel) was incredible. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Au calme dans un des quartiers les plus sympas. Central par rapport à la découverte de la ville. Accueil adorable, petit déjeuner généreux et frais dans une salle lumineuse . Chambre impeccable et agréable. Un petit jardin pour se détendre. Parfait
