Casablu Hotel

This is a wonderful boutique hotel, in a great location in the streets of Valparaiso. Everything in walking distance. The staff are warm and welcoming. Our room was beautiful with a view of the sea. The furnishings and architecture are wonderful. A real gem.

The Hotel is quint and beautifully done, precise detail in decorations, rooms with a view of the Port and city, very unique setting in a former convent. Upstairs floor has a huge sitting & lounge area overlooking the courtyard and views of the Port. The rooms are modern and great full size beds. The lower floor has the breakfast snack area leading out to the lovey patio area with a giant palm tree. The Casablu is located in a cool and vibrant area, lots of restaurants and history. This is a "Got to Go BackTo Hotel"

The most beautiful interior of hotels we have stayed in, the wonderful, happy and kind staff especially Etienne the manager who helped us out of a very difficult situation for our upcoming travel. Everything about this hotel is brilliant highly recommended would definitely stay again.

Casa Blu is a charming hotel in a very special historic neighborhood of Valparaiso: Cerro Alegre The staff was very accommodating. They went above and beyond, carrying our luggage up the stairs; allowing us to check in early and have a late checkout for a nominal fee. They also arranged for a driver to take us to the airport. The hotel decor and interior feels authentic — like stepping into the home of a family. That’s because it was the home of the owners at one point. Our room was beautiful and very comfortable with a fantastic view, We loved the living room terrace space, too. The breakfast was just what we needed, light, and plentiful We also love the location. There is so much to see in a five or six block range of the hotel; plenty of restaurants and galleries. All very walkable. The staff was very good at helping us find good places to eat and shop The real highlight was seeing all the murals around the hotel.

My wife and I and our two adult children stayed at CasaBlu for three nights, including the night of New Year's Eve 2025. We loved it. The hotel is a converted historic home with extensive, beautiful details and many cultural objects throughout. Everything is in excellent condition. We had rooms #6 and #7, which were spacious, and had exceptional views of the entire bay below. The hotel has both a first-floor common living room, and a third-floor lounge area. The third floor also has a large terrace with the same exceptional views as our rooms. Below the first floor is a dining area that opens to a lovely garden patio. The included breakfast was substantial, including eggs made to order. The atmosphere was wonderfully relaxed, the hospitality of the staff was warm and helpful, and the location - up on the hillside - was perfect for access to everything. The view of the NYE fireworks was perfect, and the party the hotel hosted for the occasion boasted generous food and alcohol. In short, we would highly recommend CasaBlu for any visit to Valparaiso.

Great host from the get-go for our introduction to Valparaiso. Helpful throughout the stay-- accommodating early arrival, taking interest in our group member's running race. and providing multiple, relaxing common spaces. Convenient location. Even with our limited Spanish, we could communicate with staff and they were eager to help us.
