Walking across the unique single-arched Roman bridge over the River Ouveze, still in use after some 2,000 years, you will enter the car free medieval haute village with cobbled lanes, art galleries and cafes and medieval castle. Vaison la Romaine is ideally located. 2.5 hrs from Paris from Avignon by TGV train. Marseille airport is 1.5 hrs away. Lyon is 2 hrs by car. Barcelona is 4 hrs by car.
