The blend of historic architecture and modern luxury creates a peaceful, refined retreat that feels both grand and intimate. This is easily a five-star experience in Southern France. We enjoyed every moment and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. "

"Das charmante Hotel ist ein echtes Schatz. Es ist unspottbar sauber, das Personal ist sehr professionell und freundlich und das Hotel verdient mehr Sterne als es transportiert. Das Hotel ist sehr gut ausgestattet und bietet einen geräumigen Balkon. Das Pool-Gebiet ist mit vielen Lounges, grassigen Gebieten und war ein Garten des Friedens. Das Frühstück war vielfältig und reichhaltig, und das Personal arbeitet müde, um sicherzustellen, dass Ihr Urlaub ein Erfolg ist - alle mit einem Lächeln. Ich würde gerne wieder aus der Saison zurückkehren."

"Großes "Inn", schön restaurierte alte Seidenwurm-Fabrik aus den 1800er Jahren. Die Frau Manager ist schrecklich. Sie spricht Englisch und hat über alles nachgedacht, um uns bequem zu machen. Ihr Frühstück ist voller Haustiere und lokaler Artikel, und die Vögel singen glücklich auf den großen Boden. Schwimmbad, auch!"

Hostellerie et la Parenthese Uzes ★★★
"Hostellerie Provençal is ideally situated in the centre of Uzes, right next to the charming old town centre. Parking is easy in Uzes and there are two large, open air parking lots about a 10 minute walk away from the hotel. They are Parking des Cordeliers (recommended by the hotel) and Parking de La Gare, which is just round the corner from the first one. The hotel is a lovely building and although we arrived early, the charming gentleman on reception, who I take to be the owner, was happy to let us check in. Our room on the 3rd floor (there is a lift) was spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated and furnished. The en-suite was also very smart and, most importantly, the room had very good air conditioning. Although it was nice to have breakfast served at the table as opposed to the ubiquitous buffet, I would class it as fine without being exceptional. In hotels prior to and after this one, similarly priced breakfasts included fresh fruit salads, a choice of cheeses instead of just one piece, and a selection of cold meats or terrines, that you don’t get here. I think that they can do a little better. This is a lovely hotel in an ideal location run by charming people. It would certainly be our hotel of choice when next visiting Uzes but we would probably forego the breakfast."

"What a wonderful b&b! We oved our week at La Maison Rouge. Fabienne is the perfect host – charming, helpful, always around, but never intrusive. And La Maison Rouge was the perfect accommodation, meeting our needs for peace and tranquility, space (the suite with garden & park view was well worth it), proximity to parking and to the old town and its cafes, restaurants and historical sights, and a garden and swimming pool in which to cool off after a long day. It was so lovely to wake in the morning to the sound of doves cooing and to go down to breakfast (delicious!) in the garden. For us, La Maison Rouge was the perfect place from which to explore the beautiful old town of Uzes and the surrounding Occitanie countryside. "
