Yuli Hotel

We thought we’d arrived in heaven in a the Monday… but the restaurant wasn’t open. It opened on the Tuesday.. tranquility replaced with loud thumping music no one wanted to hear. I’m amazed anyone could eat there. Spoiled the experience of a beautiful place.

I can not say enough how amazing this hotel is the rooms are clean and the pool is great the restaurant that is connected to hotel is absolutely a must it’s called sebas so even if you aren’t staying there you must go! BUT the real highlight of my experience here was Gretal and Kevin who are the most kind and accommodating staff members. They went above and beyond to ensure that not only my stay at the hotel was amazing but my stay in uvita. They helped me book tours and had answers to all my questions and were more than happy to help. I would come back here again absolutely and recommend to all my family and friends especially because Gretal and Kevin went above and beyond to make sure I had an executional time in uvita!!!! this hotel is a must!!!

I’ll preface this with a) my boyfriend and I are in our mid-thirties and are definitely not into partying and b) we probably should have read the reviews more closely. The good: - location was really convenient and close to everything you would like to do in Uvita. Literally 5 minutes from the beach/national park, close to great restaurants (definitely check out Fernando’s!) and activities. - parking was easy and stress free - staff were kind and accommodating - pool was such a nice perk and very obviously well cared for and maintained Now, the bad: - we booked a king bed and got…two smaller beds pushed up next two each other? The beds were really uncomfortable and kept separating. Not great given what we were expecting. - the music at the restaurant Saba’s is so, so loud. I understand the restaurant isn’t a part of the hotel, but Yuli promoted them for breakfast and it looks like there are multiple reviews complaining about the noise. If it’s harming your core business maybe it’s time to have a conversation with them about at least turning the stereo down and at THE VERY least turning the music off after 10. - on sound- the walls were paper thin. We could literally hear a person’s phone in the room next to us every time they got a text. - it didn’t feel like the rules on the pool were well enforced. We were woken up at 5:30am on our first day to a person loudly splashing around in the pool, which due to the aforementioned paper thin walls was quite obnoxious. Overall, we were just disappointed. The hotel is really nice looking but the rooms and the noise were just too much. If you’re looking for a party, sure go for it. If you’re looking for a quiet place to sleep, try somewhere else.

Had a great 3 night stay here. Kevin at the front desk was super helpful. Clean, comfortable room, a great pool and a couple great dinners at Seba's next to the hotel . Close walk to the beach / park access. Great spot! Would definitely stay here again. Travis from Canada

This place is fine is you like loud music all day long coming from the adjacent bar/restaurant. I red many reviews complaining about it. I guess they don't read it or they don't care. Beach is walking distance but you must pay. Just so you know.

AVOID! Currently trying to check in. Booked a twin room on ground floor with pool access. Have gave me a double room on 2nd floor, and offered to give me a blow up mattress, plus the toilet door is permanently locked and wont open. Receptionist went away nearly an hour ago, and tried to get glass of wine from restaurant bar next to pool, and front of house was extremely RUDE! AVOID
