The lodge was dirty and smelly from the entrance already. The room was small and carpet very dirty and stained all over. There is terrible traffic noise through the night. No entertainments, . This place was my worst stay ever.

Didn’t let us cancel, after something that was out of our hands was cancelled.

房間是挺大的，還可以。他就是在高速公路旁邊一個加油站的小酒店，沒什麼設施的，合適那種自駕游出來的

酒店衞生也是一般吧，那個洗手間都漏水了，我又想着呃，一個人住就算了，會是在呃麻煩酒店來換酒換房間，但是走的時候我不知道的情況下晚了好像半小時，出去他們就要我交了多10磅的那個錢，其實已經是退房的了，唉呀，那個人還是很不好的

Cheap hotel at £50 ponds per night. Room was livable however water leaks and buckets in every corridor. You would expect that paying that price. However! Parking eye will fleece you if you don't make sure your reg number is stored at the garage opposite. No one asked me for this and I ended up with 3 days of tickets... I appealed only to find 2 nights dropped and fine reduced to £20 if I shut up and paid immediately ... Obviously I've appealed again.. this place is a total con AVOID!! ......

OK...It's not the Ritz...but its fifty quid. Try finding a bigger, better, cleaner room for less. Its perfectly acceptable, comfortable etc. Lower your expectations, keep the price in mind and you'll be just fine. Yes its a little shabby and run on a budget in places, but as I say, remember the price. I personally enjoyed my room and my stay, had a great night sleep and would 1000% return when back in this part of Wales.

Not great. Very tired. Very shabby. Buckets everywhere collecting leaking water from above. Window catch in the room was broken and with no security bars on a ground floor room, meaning anyone could get in at any time. Towel rail hanging off in the bathroom.

Where do I start ,nightmare to check in ,at the Asda garage ,staff had no clue,on entry to lodge the hallway was scattered with buckets,on closer inspection ceiling tiles missing,water leaking from pipework,room needs decorating the list is Hugh ,bed like sleeping on a stone floor, pillows like bricks ,carpet stains, couldn't turn heating down as knobs missing ,the bath taps missing,plug stuck in bath ,had to remove with spoon ,pls don't stay here ,there's a reason it's cheap

Quite frankly I was disgusting and disappointed with my stay. I told the staff at the Asda as much. I also replied to their if you had any issues let us know email and never received a response. I can whole heartily say i have never stayed in a place that has had this many issues. We went down for a wedding as rented two rooms both were gross. The rooms weren't clean. The bin hadn't been emptied in one room. Both had stained towels, and bedding. One had blood or something all over the duvet in the room. The toilet was unflushed when we arrived. The sides were covered in crumbs. One room was missing the toilet roll holder. The fire alarm went off and there is NO fire assembly point. There is no sign for one anywhere on site that we could find. There were stains all over the floors. There was a random piece of wood in one room. There was leaks and holes in the ceiling in the hall. The foyer was a mess and disgusting. When we arrived I had to pay a second time before they would release they key even though the funds were held with the bank as a pending payment and had been for several days. This causes issues financially on this trip.

OFFICALL REVIEW The place had very soft staff Which make me think perhaps I should be a resident of Wales Specifically a official member, Will will greet you very nicely by the time you enter the place And ask him questions and he will answer them and to my surprise the place was actually hygienic and also stop saying you're not fond of the place cause it's great

Surely this place is not legal. I don't know where I could lodge a complaint but they should be shamed and have their trading license revoked. Entrance was filthy ,smelly and covered in water stains and dead leaves. Rubbish everywhere in the corridors. The ceiling was dripping water into buckets. Large cage crate of recycling and broken chair left in front of our room door. We held our breath when we walked into our rooms. The carpet was all water stained and covered in grime. Moldy bathrooms and covered in cobwebs and insects on the ceiling. Broken blinds. I wish I could give it zero stars. The one star is for the super friendly and helpful check in staff at the Asda across the road. He made sure we had a bath plug delivered and extra pillows. I feel sick having to sleep here as no longer anywhere close by with vacancy. How can they get away with this? It's worth 20 pound a night at most. And should come with a warning.

We were supposed to go on 9th August, after a concert at Cardiff. Due to the immense amount of traffic getting there we couldnt check-in before the concert. We tried to call them 4 times over the space of several hours to enquire about check in times. No-one picked up the phone. We emailed them as well. No response, even to this day. By the time we got there, it was gone midnight, so we just drove straight home. We got charged 2 days later - they just took the £50 out of my account.

Looking for somewhere to stay after a concert at Cardiff Arms Park, we discovered that everywhere in south Wales was full or extortionately expensive, with the exception of Raglan Lodge, which had a room for £50. Its location was not tiringly far from Cardiff, and was on our route home, giving options to return on the major road network or cross country. The room was as I would have expected from a Travelodge, but on this occasion less expensive. Catering and environment at the site were adequate, but not inspiring. At that price, though, I would not have expected any more. Some recycling bins had been delivered to the recption area but not unpacked, making it a little bit untidy. There was a slow water leak, dripping into a bucket, near reception - though it had obviously been identified and was being worked on. Other residents were up early and allowed doors to slam - but the lodge can't prevent bad manners.

This is the worst place I have ever stayed. If we hadn't arrived late, after a concert in Cardiff, we would have left and driven home. The place looked as though it hadn't been vacuumed in the past month. There were mugs and tea/coffee, but no kettle, no TOWELS, and no remote for the TV. The bedding was stained, leading us to sleep on top of the covers - in our clothes! The service station shop wasn't much better. Desperate for some way to get a hot drink, I went back there, only to find that neither of the coffee machines were working - because they needed cleaning! No surprise there. A notice on the main door claimed a rating of 8.5, I assume this was either out of 100, or it was 20 years out of date. Do not stay here under any circumstances.
