The Swan Hotel

Fabulous views across the river with loads of outside seating ,really welcoming pretty place. The Staff are really friendly and welcoming. We had party of 9 ,the choice of food is really good ,when our meals arrived they were hot and delicious really would highly recommend.

Found ourselves in Upton needing feeding on a Sunday and thought the 5 of us may have to starve then spotted this riverside pub. Nice atmosphere and very good pulled pork baguette and a pint. So glad we found it. Would definitely come back if we were in the area. Parking in the town was a bit of a struggle.

Beautiful room, really comfortable bed, and although I slept with the window open, I wasn't disturbed by any noise. I was in room no. 4, overlooking the street. Excellent staff. It was typical Ye Olde England, and a delight to pop down to the bar in the evening.

Booked here for a family wedding nearby for us and Mum in law 80+ , set in a beautiful location on the river . Very warm friendly welcome in a old pub with 6 bedrooms and restaurant and fantastic front on riverside. Can't fault it ,cosy ,lovely clean rooms ,great helpful staff food available in bar ,great choice and some night live music .the three of us ordered full English next morning and Wow ..it was full ,great quality bacon ,sausage, black pudding etc Mum was gobsmacked at the size of it and was excellent. Thankyou for the wonderful service and helpful information guys . The town is full of quirky independent shops and a lot of pubs/restaurant to visit . Well worth a visit . Thankyou guys well be back

Just returned home after steak night at The Swan in Upton. Steaks cooked to perfection, lovely chips and mushroom with tomatoes. The wine was superb (Malbec). I've been before with a friend which is equally good but the first time for me and hubby together. Very impressed, compliments to the chef 👨‍🍳

I recently stayed at the Swan with a friend and we had a fantastic weekend. Great location on the banks of the river Severn, we enjoyed the views outside and there was plenty of seating. Inside the pub was super comfortable and we spent time at the bar, with a really good selection of drinks. Service across the whole weekend was excellent and staff were very attentive to our needs, food arriving in good time. Food was delicious and the menu had a variety to choose from (we enjoyed steak night!) Overall a very clean and comfortable stay, will certainly be returning.
