Canterbury Reach Lodge Retreat

Spotlessly clean. Fantastic location. Maybe a better welcome pack would be nice. Very quiet and relaxing. All chalets have privacy and the park is beautifully planted with trees and shrubs. We will return. This was our second visit and it did not disappoint

Can not fault this place. Stayed Monday to Friday and chose this place as it looked a good place especially as it was for our wedding anniversary. Easy to find even though it was getting dark as they have a lit sign at the entrance. Check in was quick and told where to park and where the lodge was. Stayed in number 24 and parking was right outside. We stayed in the Rochester 2 bed lodge and there was so much space. The 2 bathrooms were massive along with the kitchen and living area. We took out 2 small dogs and the decking area was secure so we never needed to worry about them running off. Good heating, comfy beds and nice and quite. Just what we wanted. based on our experience I would not hesitate to recommend here and will defiantly be returning. Morning of leaving I noticed the cleaners were opening the windows and cleaning the frames. I can not fault any part and wonder if the negative comments were based on this place or somewhere else. There is enough space between lodges so unlike caravan parks noise was very low. Yes there was only 2 teabags and 2 coffee sachets but we brought enough for the week and this is not a negative. Do remember if using dishwasher you will need capsules for it. This is our second stay at a Darwin holidays and with the many years of holidays I would say its been the nicest place to stay. Thank you. Also the petrol station down the road was cheap.

The most amazing beautiful place it was truly stunning. The pictures don’t do it justice. Everything you needed for a perfect holiday so quiet and relaxing. The most relaxing place ever. A lovely place we visited many places from here the castles were stunning.
