The people working in the hotel are great, they are very friendly and helpful! The room in general is very clean, but the hotel has many flies flying around, especially during breakfast, there are many flies just lying on the bread and also flying around our food. Location from the hotel to city center is around 20~30 minutes walk, and there is a bus passing by the hotel every 20~30 minutes as well, for us it is alright, but we need to check the schedule to make sure we don't miss the bus, otherwise we will need to wait another 30 minutes for next bus or just walk to the city center.

Es ist das zufriedenstellendste Hotel der Schweiz und liegt ganz in der Nähe des Supermarkts und des Bahnhofs Interlaken. Es ist zu Fuß in 10 Minuten erreichbar. Auch das Zimmer war groß und sehr sauber.

Das Hotel ist ein 10-15mins Spaziergang vom Interlaken West Station. Die Umgebung verfügt über eine ganze Reihe von Cafés, Restaurants und Souvenir-Shops. Es ist auch in einem Szenenteil von Interlaken, wo Sie die Berge und die blauen Gewässer im Fluss sehen können, die für große Fotos macht. Sie können auch Spot Para-Gliders. Wenn Sie am See laufen, können Sie in etwa 20 Minuten Interlaken Ost Station erreichen. Ganz schöne Wanderung entlang des Flusses! Das Hotel selbst ist 3-storey. Alles ist ziemlich viel Selbstbedienung und es gibt keine Rezeption/Personal um - Sie nehmen den Schlüssel in einen Code, um den Haupteingang zu bekommen, und es gibt einen Desktop/Tablet für Sie, um sich selbst zu überprüfen. Es gibt einen kleinen Gepäckraum, um Ihre Gepäck in der Innenstadt zu verlassen. Es gibt auch einen kleinen gemeinsamen Pantry mit einigen grundlegenden elektrischen Geräten wie Kessel und Kühlschrank für Gäste. Es gibt keinen Aufzug und Sie müssen Ihre Gepäck auf die Spirale Treppe tragen. Das Zimmer selbst ist klein, sauber und einfach - nur ein Bett, einige Hänge und ein Toilette. Es gibt kein TV. Hotel hinterließ eine Toblerone Schokolade auf dem Bett als Geschenk für uns, das schön ist. Außerdem wurde herausgefunden, dass der Eigentümer einen Kaffee um die Ecke („Spitz“) besitzt und uns ein Kaffeeboot gegeben wurde, der schön war. Wir brauchten Hilfe bei der Eincheckung und gingen zum Kaffee, um den Eigentümer zu helfen, und er half uns sehr.

The Aarburg Hotel & Café is a charming little spot in Interlaken, just a 15-minute walk from Interlaken West train station. While it’s tempting to take the shortcut, I’d recommend sticking to the main road, especially in snowy weather—it’s much easier for pulling luggage. Check-in was smooth and efficient, but do note there are no lifts in this cozy hotel. Carrying heavy bags up the narrow stairs was a bit of a workout, so pack light if you can. One of the highlights of my stay was definitely the coffee—it lived up to all the glowing Google reviews. Breakfast was simple but wholesome, with fresh bread, croissants, yogurt, and healthy toppings like dried berries, almonds, and chia seeds. The café is pet-friendly, so don’t be surprised to see a few furry friends around. The room itself was modest but comfortable. However, as the building is wooden, sounds tend to carry. We wondered if we were bothering other occupants but thankfully, no complaints! The location is peaceful, away from the main road, though the church bells that sound at intervals through the night was a little disturbing on the first night. With a supermarket near the train station for quick snacks and essentials, this hotel is both convenient and quiet. Perfect for couples looking for a laid-back stay. I’d happily book here again if I return to Interlaken.
