Everything is great about this hotel. Very attentive staff. Everyone treats customers with respect. The location is also great as it is closer to everything like Srikrishna temple and beaches. For us, somebody attended at 4 AM to fix an issue with hot water. They also gave suggestions on sightseeing which were very helpful. Fodd in the in-house restaurant ”Madhuram” is also great. Particularly ”Goli-baje”. Overall very nice stay and I would recommend this to everyone.

We loved our stay at Jyoti Residency. Will definitely recommend anyone going there to stay there. Spacious clean rooms and close to the temple. Very few hotels out there who can provide the services like them. We were lucky to get 2 rooms there as someone had cancelled by the time we got in to their hotel around 9.30pm. Scouted a dozen hotels in and around the area but did not find any clean and tidy for a family of 4 to stay. Out of desperation, would have ended up taking some lodge hadn't I tried my luck at Jyoti Residency. Always suggest everyone to book hotels before going to such places. We had gone during Ugadi so almost all hotels were completely booked for the night. Would like to thank Biju and his team at the reception desk who were helpful throughout our stay and always wore a smile. Would like to specially call out to Tikko (housekeeping staff) who got my severe bout of shivering to a halt with his hand and leg massage and Reji Annan (their in-house driver) who drove me all the way to the nearby hospital that is 30kms away (Adarsha Hospital, Kundapura Highway) at around 1am in the night and got me back to the room safely by 3.30am. I'm really happy that there are such good people in this friendly temple town who goes out of their way to help you (something that was missing in our previous day stay in an overhyped Cafe, Gokarna).

Wir blieben in diesem Resort drei Nächte vom 24. bis 27. Dez in Premium Zimmer 516 auf der 4. Etage. Die Größe des Zimmers war ziemlich geräumig und groß. Das Zimmer war sauber. Die Größe des Badezimmers war auch ziemlich geräumig und sauber. Als Bonus hatte es auch Bad-Tube:-). Alle Mitarbeiter einschließlich Hauspflege, Restaurant und Front Desk waren sehr hilfreich, freundlich und bieten sehr schnelle Service. Buffet Frühstück war von guter Qualität und Geschmack ****** mit breitem Spektrum. Das Frühstück wurde jedoch auf der ersten Etage serviert, das war nur eine einfache Halle mit Kunststofftisch und Stühlen. Die Lage dieses Resorts war gut, da es bedeutete, dass wir aus der Hustle-n-Bustle der Stadt Udupi waren. Die Entfernung dieses Resorts vom nächsten Strand war nur 15 Minuten zu Fuß. Das Innenraum des Zimmers und das Hotel wurde geplant. Die Zimmer müssen malen. Die Möbel im Zimmer wie Schrank, Kleiderschrank usw. müssen polieren. Die Lobby im Empfangsbereich hatte auch viele Patches von Leckagen und verschwundenen Gemälden. Insgesamt braucht dieses Resort eine sofortige Renovierung. Sie hatten Kettle und Kaffeeschnecken geliefert. Aber es gab keine Teebeutel/Kaffee/Zuckerbeutel. Ich habe die gleiche Anfrage an die Rezeption gestellt, aber sie sagten, sie können nicht die gleiche anbieten. Ich habe auch eine Handtücher gefragt, für die ich die gleiche Antwort von der Rezeption erhalten habe. Schließlich, da wir während der Weihnachtssaison hier geblieben sind, war der Preis 2.5 Zeiten der normalen Preise. Der Preis rechtfertigte die oben genannten Punkte nicht. Leider für mich erwies sich es nicht als Wert für Geld.

The hotel staff were very helpful, the location of the hotel is perfece and the parking space is very nice. However, The following things can be improved in the hotel. 1. Providing water bottle - Half litre water bottles ( non branded, or may be I will call it locally branded ) were provided. This can be replaced with a one litre branded water bottles so that as a guest I am very comfortable with the brand that I am using. 2. The AC in the room was having a little smell, I believe it is due to the AC machine which is old enough now for replacement, this can be fixed to make the guest feel more relaxed at the room 3. Since the booking was done, breakfast was complimentary, However, when we visited the breakfast counter, the ambience looked as if the breakfast was more of a obligatory event for the hotel. Choice of food was very less and also the quality of Dosa items especially were pathetic, the sourness in the dosa batter was evident in the smell of the food. Even though this was informed, at the counter itself, I did not get any response which made me feel that as a guest I am not being treated properly.

Kediyoor is amongst the oldest and most conveniently located 3 star accomodation option when staying in udupi. It is right next to Udupi bus depot and walking distance to Shri Krishna mutt , City Center mall etc. Entire Udipi shopping areas can be traversed on foot and manipal is also about only 4 kms away. The Hotel has a veg and non veg restaurant below besides a pizza joint and also a bakery/ confectionery store below. Food served in the restaurants is of superb quality and taste although may be a tad more expensive than the joints nearby. We stayed in a super deluxe room with a Jhula and the rooms was quite spacious and clean. Only thing the corridors are quite dark and not well lit. The room service was prompt and courteous. Only thing to be noted is this is a slightly older 3 Star property - so if you keep that in mind in terms of expectations- one is unlikely to be responded.

The biggest strength of this beautiful property is its strategic location. The infinity pool overlooking the lagoon is a view to die for. Surrounded by lush greenery this is a great property to stay. We are a couple with 2 kids aged 7 & 3 and had a lovely stay at the property. We stayed in the Deluxe rooms - the ones alloted to us were spacious but slightly dated. There were a few more on the ground floor that were relatively new. The landscape is fairly maintained, the view in the night is lovely. The breakfast spread is decent, mix of local and western options. We ate the food in the resort hotel on the first day and food was decent. They try to make food to your specification if you ask. Staff is courteous and always smiling. Special mention to Aldrin at the front desk who went the extra mile to help us find a rental car when we couldnt get one - if not for him, our travel would have been pretty challenging as the property is a good 13 km away from Udupi - pretty remote and you cant get out easily from there without a vehicle. Although a few guests who stayed mentioned that the resort staff would help them with a rickshaw. The room lacked some basic amenities for the price offered like complementary toiletries, a hair dryer, a safety locker, etc. The pool is lovely and you cant get enough of the view from the pool. The kids loved the play area and the books stocked up there. There are a good number of fantastic sightseeing spots - Hoode beach which is just a lil over 1 km. Delta point/Bengre beach where river Suvarna meets the Arabian sea is an absolutely fantastic spot to view sunrise/sunset or just soak yourself in the beach. Kemmannu Hanging bridge and the water activities around that place is another great attraction for both kids and adults. We also went to see the Kaup beach and lighthouse in the evening when they allow you to go up the lighthouse. The best part was taking the route ***** the beach where you can drive through quite villages with backwaters to the left and the beach right next to you - BLISS! Overall a good stay with some minor upgrades needed to make this one of the sought after properties in this area.

The rooms were pristine clean, clean bed linen and towels. Plenty of hot water. Tea/ coffee kettle in room. Excellent service both at reception and restaurant . Staff Benedict/ Aroop went the extra mile with their service and so did the young restaurant Manager. The location is also superb. Only issue was that due to heavy rains the street was flooded and so was their basement car park. Also wish mid range hotels in India had shower cubicles. The whole bathroom is wet after a shower!

Das ist das schlimmste Hotel, das ich jemals im Hinblick auf die Gesamtheit des Hotels *** verblieben habe. Dieses Hotel befindet sich im Herzen der Stadt und verfügt über angemessen Zimmer. Das Problem beginnt, wenn Sie die Hotelzimmer von Online-Aggregatoren wie MMT oder Cleartrip buchen. Die zeitliche Kontrolle wie erwähnt ist 1 PM und es ist eine sehr ungünstige Zeit für die meisten von uns. Ich bat das Hotel um mich bei 12.30 zu belassen, und sie sagten nein und fragten Rs.600, um mich in einer halben Stunde früh zu überprüfen zu lassen. Ich besuchte in der Nähe von Orten und später bei 3.30 PM eincheckte. Das Bett und die Leinen sind sehr schmutzig. Der Kissen ist sehr dünn, ich bat um einen zusätzlichen Kissen und sie sagten mir, zu einem zusätzlichen Kissen zu köhen Rs.30. Wir waren 3 von uns und 1 Wasserflasche von 1 lt wurde gegeben. Wir bestellten Zimmerservice und gingen schlafen 10PM. Bei 11.30 PM rang jemand die Uhr und als ich antwortete, fragte der Kellner, ob ich etwas anderes essen wollte. Ich sagte, ich habe genug und schlief. Er sagte mir, die Rechnungen sofort zu löschen und machte mich die Zimmerservice-Bild Mitte der Nacht zu lösen. Ich sagte ihnen, wir sind eine Familie und wir werden nicht weglaufen, ohne Sie zu bezahlen. Dies ist eine der schlimmsten Erfahrungen meines Lebens, wo das ***-Agement des Hotels so viel Vertrauensdefizit hat. Wenn Sie hier bleiben, behalten Sie sich Ihre eigenen Toiletten und Handtücher. Die Handtücher sind sehr alt und stinkend. Insgesamt schlimmste Erfahrung. Bleib bei deinem Risiko.
