Premier Inn Glasgow East

Booked a 2 night stay at this Premier Inn for a mix of business and pleasure and although the food and cleanliness was ok, I did not get a good nights sleep. the hotel took in a coach party who basically ran amuck along the corridors and ruined my nights sleep. I complained several times to the hotel staff who achieved nothing as it continued throughout the early hours of the morning. I have tried to file a claim under the supposed "good nights guarantee" and have heard nothing back.

Our room was full of mould, spiders, dust and cobwebs. Had a musty smell and the bedding felt damp. Could not have a shower as the bathroom was so dirty. No where near worth the £140 that was charged to stay there for one night. Complained to reception staff, she was helpful enough but only solution she had was to spray the room with mould spray…..declined as not good to have my 7yr old daughter sleeping with that strong chemicals. Hotel was full so could not change rooms, not that it would have mattered as our friends where staying in 2 other rooms and their’s was full of mould and dirt too. Avoid this hotel if you can. Shame because the restaurant and staff there were really good.

When we arrived at the Premier Inn we were told that the restaurant was closed. I had booked and paid for two breakfasts and I was assured that the cost of these would be refunded. That was three weeks ago and I am still waiting for a refund; very poor customer service.

Amazing hotel , Fantastic staff ! Always went above and beyond for what we wanted . Really looked after us with our stay here . Special mention to Charlotte I believe her name was and the old ish lady on breakfast working on the 12th,13th,14th,15th of July ! Amazing 2 ladies and very friendly and happy . A very warm welcome also from them and reception staff . Our Stay was amazing - thank you again team Will miss chatting to Charlotte and the lady on breakfast . Decent enough Premier Inn, at a very good price, but the restaurant was closed ( we did want breakfast ) and the mess outside, no doubt from the pub/restaurant attached ( which was, er, closed ) put you off a bit. Few people coming in late waking us up too. A bit rough.

Sunday Breakfast again in the Black Bear at Premier Inn Glasgow East (Uddingston) Once again excellent service from Debbie and the food was of the usual high standard cooked fresh to order and a large selection from the Continental Buffet makes this the best value breakfast in the area. See you again soon

Stayed for the wrestling at the hydro Ten minutes away Easy to get too Clean room Friendly staff Good breakfast

Terrible service in the restaurant ordered a mixed grill and asked for an extra piece of gammon instead of the two sausages Was told no the first time this has ever happened to me as the gammon is only small not a big cost difference between them

Overall a very pleasant stay given the circumstances - we were attending a family funeral. All staff on this visit were very helpful but a special mention must go to Leigh-Ann who went above and beyond when we encountered an unforeseen last minute hitch. Her help in the matter was very much appreciated by all.
