I am writing to express my profound disappointment with the service and facilities at Hotel Taj Fateh Prakash, Udaipur. Based on my experience, I believe this property should be downgraded to a four-star rating, as it does not meet the high standards typically associated with the Taj brand. This stay was part of my three Palace hotel stays with Taj, starting with the Rambagh Palace, followed by Taj Fateh Prakash, and concluding at the Lake Palace. The service and amenities at Taj Fateh Prakash were in stark contrast to the other two properties, which exemplified outstanding hospitality. Firstly, the hotel is extremely challenging for individuals with limited mobility or knee injuries. I sustained a knee sprain at the airport and was in severe pain throughout my stay. Despite this, there was no proactive effort from the staff to accommodate me in a more accessible room. The numerous flights of stairs required to reach my room were particularly distressing. The room itself was disappointing. The main door had a rudimentary latch system, which was surprising for a Palace hotel. Additionally, the carpet was old and worn. The property has only one restaurant, which is also difficult to access for those with limited mobility. Furthermore, the swimming pool, one of the main attractions, was non-functional, a fact that was not communicated to us in advance. Construction noise further disturbed our stay. The most shocking issue was the presence of large black ants in the bathroom and a stream of red ants in the bedroom. This was unprecedented in my experience with Taj properties, where simple pest control measures would typically prevent such occurrences. While the guest relations staff, particularly Pooja, was polite and helpful, the overall lack of facilities and absence of the distinctive Taj touch led me to conclude that the service at this property is lacking. The contrast with my experiences at Rambagh Palace and the Lake Palace was striking and disappointing. I hope this feedback helps in improving the standards at Taj Fateh Prakash to align with the exceptional quality expected from Taj properties.

I had an amazing time at Leela palace udaipur and had the most flavourful Mutton rogan Josh - I must say this was my highlight! The property is so serene with great views and rooms with great view. Dishant, the housekeeping head was kind enough to give us a tour of the property and the royal suit which is such a elegance and royalty.It was the earth hour and the place so lit so well and we lit the Diya’s together. It was such a great experience and I loved the Leela’s special fragrance and such a great work by the housekeeping team to maintain such a beautiful property .Its one of my favourite places now♥️

Ausgezeichnete Aufenthalt mit der Familie. Ein wenig grob und lang in, lauten Korridore mit Menschen schreien über die Hallen und Balkone sogar spät in der Nacht. Neben dem oben hatten wir einen fantastischen Aufenthalt. Sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit Personal und Teams, großes Haushalten, superb Frühstück. Wir werden sicher empfehlen und wieder besuchen.

Das Hotel wurde vom Kunden vorgestellt, das Gesamtgefühl ist gut, das Frühstück ist ok, die geschäftlichen Bedürfnisse sind akzeptabel!

Schöner Aufenthalt. Gesamterfahrung ist gut einschließlich Lebensmittel ... Muss Platz besuchen ... Jedes Personal ist kooperativ besonders schöner Service von Pay Mom. Das denkmalgeschützte Gebäude fühlt sich an wie ein Traum, wunderschön. Eine kostenlose Fähre steht für 24 Stunden zum Betreten und Verlassen des Hotels zur Verfügung. Die Umgebung im Hotel ist ruhig. Die Bar im 2. Stock neben dem Wasser kann viele schöne Fotos machen. Das Zimmer, in dem Sie wohnen, ist ein Zimmer mit Gartenblick und Blick auf den Garten. Das Frühstück ist wunderschön. Sie können warme Speisen à la carte bestellen und den Tauben beim Essen zusehen.
