The Belmonte House by Levelup

There's nothing really good that I can say about this hotel except that it looks impressive from outside. As soon as you step into the reception, the illusion is shattered. The sofas in the lobby look shabby and old and we hesitated to sit on them because they looked so bad. The lift is carpeted by the dirtiest and smelliest rug that I have ever seen. Once you enter your room, you'll find that the floor has not been cleaned and your bedsheets are torn. The bathroom was not clean. The washbasin and the commode were stained and dirty looking and the tiles in the corners of the bathroom were dirty and uncleaned. The service is slow and disinterested. The breakfast buffet is limited and the food is rather tasteless. They were also unwilling to give us a bill for the food we had consumed till we insisted on one. The location of the hotel is way outside the city and is inconvenient. There is a general air of neglect and disinterest and I would certainly not recommend this hotel as a good place to stay. I am wondering how they got a rating of 4.7/5 and whether the people who gave it a five star rating were tripping on something.

Rooms are good but the service is not good.House keeping and restaurant staff need to improve their service

Overall it is ok to stay...Room are clean and well maintained...Balcony although small but has good lookout on road... Lacks are bit poor kitchen service...Breakfast is not good ...small table on which they also kept boiled egg alongside...as a veg for me the smell was intense and bad...kitchen shilut down at 10:30 night...i asked for iron , the person asked to wait 20 min...
