Nice property, value for money

Words fail me when it comes to the Taj Aravalli. We were treated with a level of dignity and respect (true hospitality) that we hadn't experienced in any other hotel before! Our stay here for 3 nights was the highlight of our India trip, my only regret being we couldn't stay longer. For us, it was the little things that Reema and so ***y others did that made our stay exceptional, like setting balloons up around the property just because we had kids, the incredible kindness and playfulness with our children from staff like Gulshan and others, the ***y offers of support and guidance at every turn during our stay. There is a level of genuineness here that shines through beyond regular professional hospitality, the staff here actively make you feel better about yourself - and there is no higher praise I can give then that. In terms of the facilities, the room was spectacular and the grounds were beautiful. You can opt to laze by the pool, eat in three different restaurants or participate in the ***y activities on offer. Taj Aravalli has expertly found ways to include children with a broad range of activities that are beyond count, but the property is so expansive that there's enough room for kids, honeymooners, couples etc to enjoy without encroaching on one another. The food was delicious, and the package we had (breakfast and one other major meal) is great value all round. I recommend you visit the other two restaurants, as the quality only improves at the Grill and Javitri restaurants. ***y people opt to stay around the Udaipur lakes when visiting, while understandable I think there's a layer of peace, beauty and hospitality you can't get anywhere else in Udaipur. We can't wait to return!

Great property and very well ***aged. All employees very friendly and professional, especially impressed by Surajpal ji and Kamal ji. Highly recommend the stay. Gym and the pool and very good. The staff also takes accountability for their mistakes and does well to rectify them.

Our experience at Taj Aravali Udaipur Resort and Spa during our corporate offsite from 11-14 April 2024 left much to be desired. Despite online rooms being advertised for a reasonable 10-11K, the hotel charged a staggering 18K plus taxes for the corporate offsite, a clear indication of taking advantage of corporate clientele. Unfortunately, the high price did not equate to quality service. Ra***preet made verbal commitments regarding discounts on à la carte liquor, which were later reneged upon, citing lack of documentation. This lack of integrity and transparency was disheartening, and it became evident that the hotel's revenue department prioritized profit over guest satisfaction. Moreover, despite efforts to negotiate with the director of sales for a discount on rack rates, we were met with resistance and dismissiveness. It became apparent that verbal agreements held no weight, and the hotel was unwilling to accommodate reasonable requests. In addition, while individual travelers were allowed to bring liquor into their rooms, group guests were coerced into purchasing expensive options from the hotel. This inconsistency in policy was frustrating and felt like a tactic to maximize profits at the expense of guests' convenience and preferences. In conclusion, our experience at Taj Aravali Udaipur Resort and Spa was marred by exorbitant pricing, lack of integrity, and inconsistent policies. We caution future guests to exercise caution when dealing with the hotel and to ensure all agreements are documented in writing to avoid disappointment.

From check in to check out the experience was above and beyond. The setting is spectacular and the staff here are what make this property so special. For nine days we enjoyed some of the best spa treatments we have ever had and enjoyed the dining experiences here - particularly the Rajasthani options. Our room was a great size with a stunning view of the greenery and the hills. But again...it's the people here. So genuine, welcoming and warm. Too ***y to name all here but here goes...Sushi and Anusha from Housekeeping, Chef Sanket, Bheru, Sandeep, Pratham in the dining outlets, Kanmihor at the pool, Shivangi and all on the Front Desk team, and all others we met. And a big thank you to the GM Mr Amit Singh for the extraordinary care and generosity. We will be back for sure.

The magnificence of the Aravali hills took my breath away as we drove in to the Taj Aravali property. Right from checking in to checking out, each step was made simple and worry-free by the staff. Extremely polite, accommodating and driven to keep the Taj brand flying high, staff members such as Kanhu, Amit, Rupa, Shreya, Anjali, Ananya, Kalu and Dr. Savita (from J Wellness) played a major role in making our holiday unforgettable. I stayed at the property with my fiancée to celebrate my birthday and I couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing way to spend my big day. We enjoyed the Soma spa experience, and loved how beautiful, clean and well-maintained the property is. Features such as our room, swimming pools (Jharna), the bar at the pool, the gorgeous water feature and musician in the amphitheater lawn, the lovely sit-out outside our cottage, the view from the Ridgeview restaurant made our stay memorable. We especially enjoyed soaking up some sun in the pool each day, playing engaging games in the game zone and badminton court, eating delicious food at Tiri and Ridgeview and participating in fun activities over breakfast - engaging with real Rajasthani potters, getting traditional Rajasthani designs hennaed on my fiancée’s hand, and applauding the traditional dance artists and puppeteers. The housekeeping and restaurant staff members did a beautiful job of decorating our room for my birthday and placed a delicious cake for me as well, in the room. I also loved discovering a little Ganesh ***dir, created in a small nook on the property, where a tree trunk is decorated to look like Ganesh-ji. What a lovely discovery! We were also there for the Independence Day celebrations on 15th August and the hotel was done up beautifully to mark the occasion. Housekeeping staff members (very sweetly) came to each room to invite guests for the flag hoisting, and each attendee was given a sustainable flag badge, made of plantable card material. I heartily approve of everything the hotel is doing to preserve nature and add to its beauty. I couldn’t have asked for a better holiday and we will definitely come back again! I am writing to provide feedback regarding my recent stay at Hotel Taj Aravali Udaipur, where I served as the tour coordinator for my group. Unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations in several aspects. I would like to address a discrepancy in the billing. We were charged for meals during our stay, despite being under the impression that meals were included as part of our arrangement as a tour coordinator. This unexpected charge has caused confusion and dissatisfaction among our group members. I trust that these issues can be addressed promptly to ensure that future guests have a more positive experience at your esteemed establishment. Additionally, I kindly request a review and adjustment of the billing to accurately reflect the terms of our agreement. Regarding the checkout procedure during my recent stay at Hotel Taj Aravali Udaipur. As the tour coordinator for my group, I was taken aback by the unexpected halt during the checkout process, where we were asked to settle all dues before leaving the premises. This interruption disrupted our departure plans and caused inconvenience to both myself and the members of my group. While I understand the importance of settling outstanding dues, such matters should ideally be addressed in a smoother and more organized ***ner, I appreciate your attention to these matters and look forward to your prompt response and resolution.

Around 30 acres of lush green modern resort situated amidst Aravali range of mountains, beautifully designed lobby restaurants rooms bars recreational clubs with well equipped huge gymnasium squash and badminton courts a pool to the tune of what we see on a beach resort, a pet friendly and good for single wo*** travelers . Spectacular views from each part of Aravali range, helipad, horticulture gardens, organically grown vegetables, smiling faces under the leadership from their general ***ager Mr Amit.
