Berkshire Inn

The hospitality was the best we've ever received, and we've travelled all over the country. Brittany & Chris welcomed us like family, ensured we had important travel info (Yosemite road closures, etc.). We were the only guests during our stay as it was a few days before Thanksgiving, and Brittany made us a delicious breakfast each morning and we enjoyed good coffee and conversation. They even helped us get an important work document printed/faxed. Due to weather-related road closures, we were not able to visit the Hetch Hetchy Valley in Yosemite until the day we were checking out, and Chris & Brittany extended our checkout time because they knew we wanted to visit the area and had travelled from New York. They wanted us to be able to visit without rushing and grab a shower after our visit. Our room was clean, comfortable and cozy, and their home where we enjoyed coffee each morning was cozy, inviting and beautifully decorated. This is definitely a place we will be back to visit and would highly recommend to anyone else.

This is a cozy and relaxing B&B with a great setting. The owners are a young couple that immediately make you feel welcome and part of the family. Yes, you actually do feel like you are part of their family when you are there. The beds are very comfortable and the room is spacious. The Inn has several shared terraces where you can eat your breakfast if you choose, or just relax after dinner or a long day at Yosemite. Breakfast is cook to order pancakes with cut bananas, or eggs and toast. There is coffee and orange juice available even before the 7AM breakfast time. The drive to the Big Oak Yosemite park entrance is just under 30 minutes. It is a beautiful drive with great scenery. The small downtown of Groveland is just a couple of miles down the road where you will fine several restaurants. I would definitely stay at this Inn again.

We had a great 2-night stay at the Berkshire Inn. The room and bed were very comfortable and our hosts, Chris, Brittany, Carson, and their puppy, were everything (and more) that you hope for when you stay at a Bed & Breakfast. The breakfast was excellent and the location was very convenient to Yosemite – about a 25 minute drive to the park entrance and another 35 minutes to the center of all the action at Yosemite. If you are looking for a quaint place to stay that is warm, welcoming, and better than any experience you will get at a national chain hotel, this inn is highly recommended.

The room was beautiful & spacious, exactly as pictured, breakfast was amazing with healthy choices and the owners could not be more attentive or accommodating. There’s plenty of common space and many porches with welcoming seating. And they have a puppy!! Thank you!

Accoglienza fantastica ci si sente come a casa. La colazione era cucinata al momento ed era buonissima e i pancakes erano la fine del mondo. Molto vicina all'ingresso di Yosemite, circa una ventina di minuti ed immersa nel verde. Proprietari super accoglienti.

Bellissima struttura immersa nella natura a due passi da Yosemite National Park. Accoglienza calorosa da parte di tutta la famiglia (mamma, papà e bimbo vivacissimo), un tenerissimo cucciolo e un gatto. Ambienti accoglienti e arredati con gran gusto, un bel porticato, una piccola zona bar nella sala da pranzo con possibilità di prepararsi tè o caffè. La nostra camera (mini suite con 2 queen beds) era molto spaziosa e confortevole, con un bellissimo affaccio sul portico e il paesaggio circostante. Ottima la colazione con pancakes e banane o uova strapazzate con prosciutto e formaggio. Assolutamente da raccomandare.
