Die Online Reservation zwei Monate im Voraus erwies sich als schwierig und klappte nicht auf Anhieb und letztendlich nur über e-mail Verkehr. Das Hotel ist einer Estancia oder einem Kloster nachempfunden, ist ein Nachbau und nicht das Original. (Das praktisch identisch gebaute Hotel Merced del Alto, befindet sich in Cachi). Trotzdem fühlt man sich sofort wohl und alle Räumlichkeiten wie Chemine-Raum, Bar, Restuaurant und Zimmer sind mit alten Fliessenböden ausgestattet. Auf der Rückseite unter dem grossen Vordach befindet sich der wunderschöne, einladende Aussenbereich mit Lese- und Ruhezone, der Aussenbereich des Restaurants und weiter entfernt, der Pool und Wellness-Bereich. Die Natur ist wunderbar intergriert. Das Personal an der Reception wie auch das Hauspersonal im Aussenbereich ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, dazu einige auch gut englisch sprechend. Mir wurde auf Nachfrage freundlicherweise gar das Auto gewaschen. Die Zimmer sind eher klein und schlicht gehalten. TV oder Kühlschrank fehlen, im Badezimmer dazu auch an Abstellflächen und die Dusche ist mit einem klebendem Vorhang in der Badewanne integriert. In der Nacht ist es absolut ruhig, so ruhig sogar, dass ich morgens um zwei Uhr dem in einem der Nachbarzimmer permanent surrenden Telefon nachgehen wollte- und den Nachtwächter vorfand. Dieser erklärte mir, dass er die Ursache des störenden Geräusches sehr wohl kenne und es sich dabei um die Pumpe des Wassertanks auf dem Dach handle. Er gehe hoch und stelle es bis zum Morgen ab - in der Folgenacht verlangte ich bereits am Abend, dass die Pumpe ausgeschaltet blieb und hatte meine Ruhe. Wir hatten Zimmer Nr. 01 und wird vermutlich nur dort wahrgenommen. Das Frühstückbuffet ist grossartig und ausreichend. Leider kann ich das Restaurant aber für Mittag- oder Abendessen nicht empfehlen und ist eine Katastrophe. Siehe dazu meine getrennte Bewertung des Restaurants. Schade, ich würde trotz des eher hohen Preises vermutlich wieder hierher zurückkehren.
