Zenses Wellness and Yoga Resort - Adults Only

It does not worth the money and the stress caused by their incompetence! prices are fair and the nice hotel has potential but their customer service is absolutely disgusting! We checked out 2 days before because we felt unsafe and miserable. You can find better hotels in no time and we hope this review will help you during your stay in Mexico. Tulum is beautiful! :) (We did not pay too much attention to the bad reviews while choosing this hotel which we are regretting now ) this was our experience, the staff does not take the responsibility for their mistakes but they blame you to avoid problems!!!

I was recently scammed by the receptionist named Karlos Alvarez (if the name is correct). I handed over my driver's license to him two days ago to rent two bikes. We returned the bikes yesterday, but unfortunately, he lost my driver's license. Initially, he said he was searching for it and would get back to me soon. After a few hours, he claimed to have checked the security camera footage and said he never received my driver's license. This was incredibly hilarious and frustrating. We left the hotel two days early because we didn't feel safe at all. Now, I'm filing a report with the embassy and contacting local authorities to investigate. I will also dispute the matter with my bank, as I have all the necessary evidence. Thank you for ruining our vacation.

DO NOT STAY THIS IS A SCAM! No hot water for 2 days. Toilet didn’t flush properly. Wifi NEVER worked, therefore no TV. Pillows are huge! No joke the size of bean bags and filled with bricks. I slept without pillows for a week. My suitcase was rummaged through after my room was cleaned on day 1. Amenities never refilled despite being empty. Website and tonnes of reviews said free bikes, the resort didn’t even have bikes! They sourced one from a company and attempted to charge 250 a day. Another couple booked on a website that advertised free yoga…not the case. I tried to cancel, and was told by the receptionist that I had to email the booking team, and that there was no phone number. They ignored all 9 emails I sent. When they finally replied I got “sorry for the inconvenience”. No comment on cancellation. Another couple tried to cancel also, and their refund was refused. I felt completely trapped here. I hated every second of it. There are no drinks, hot water, or anything available after breakfast service. They literally have one receptionist and some grounds keepers. This is so far from a resort it isn’t funny. I stayed in hostels with better service than this resort. I heard heaps of people complaining during their stay. The rooms were beautiful but that is literally all you pay for. This place charged way way way too much!!!! Horrible and I could not wait to leave this complete scam of a “resort”.

Zenses is an Excellent Boutique in Tulum town. Everything from large Bohemian room, jungle type setting, daily yoga, breakfast, beautiful swimming pool & staff were expectation. Big shout out to "Afonso" Reception/Concierge ... SOO helpful with Tulum information, Tours, Things to do, Restaurants ... & More! Thankyou Afonso to help make our stay Sooo Pleasant!!!

This accomodation is so beautiful. The lobby, the garden-paths, the poolside all have this peaceful tropical vibe and sounds. And then I didn’t even talk about the room! So tasteful and spacious! Bathroom is perfect and the beautiful lights in the room are adding to the atmosphere. Perfect bed & shower. Ultra friendly staff & great location in the centre of Tulum. In short: I totally recommend!!

My husband and I went for a short 2-day stay as a part of our honeymoon and we had a wonderful experience. The staff is very helpful and attentive. This hotel resembles a sanctuary. Nice fresh food, large spacious luxury rooms that offer privacy like no other. Attended a yoga class, the yoga teacher was sweet and professional, we felt so relaxed after. We bought tickets to the cenotes in Casa Tortuga in the reception for a cheaper price. Spectacular trip! All in all a very good stay, would recommend.
