Azalea Sapa Hotel

Nice and clean hotel.. nice view from resturant..

Great location, surrounded by restaurants and places of interest. Walkable to the station, and to the square, and old market. Most striking was the amazingly friendly staff! The hotel itself is brand new, and I struggled to work the air conditioning (it has a remote control, which I stupidly didn’t realise only works when you point it at the unit), anyway, they were falling over themselves to put it right, and always with such friendliness. Honestly we felt like we were really home from home. During our trip, I was a bit ill when we’d already checked out and were waiting for a car to the night train in Lau Cai city (also recommended), anyway, they sat me down and gave me a lovely hot tea - would not take no for an answer. Honestly these people were so kind. I’ve read a few not so nice reviews of this hotel on trip adviser and I don’t recognise them at all. The facilities are brand new, and everything works brilliantly. Hair dryers in the rooms and everything nice and crisp. I’m used to staying in nice hotels and this is up there with the best. The breakfast place ok the top floor is not to be missed (annoyingly I didn’t take a picture), but ha floor to ceiling views on 3 sides, and stunning views at that. Also the room had a lovely balcony.

YOUR STAFF STOLE MONEY FROM US! My sister & I lost each usd300. WORST STAY for us!!! Staff not helpful & DISHONEST worst hotel! We hid and kept our money inside our passport cases inside our suitcases and they went inside and took our money. They even accused us of taking face towels and blow dryer bags which we didn’t take and left in the room. Projecting their kleptomaniac activities on us! WORST hotel DONT book this hotel
