Motel 6 Youngstown, Oh ★★

"The young lady at the front desk was very pleasant and got us checked in quickly. She even went to our room ahead of time to make sure that it was cleaned properly. We got to our room and the air conditioning was already on so that was nice as it was about 80° outside. We entered from the front entrance and went through a door to head up some stairs to the second floor. This was inside the building. The steps in the hallways were carpeted and they were filthy. It looks like they hadn't been vacuumed in months! We got to our room and we both mentioned that the glass on the front entrance doors needed to be cleaned and there were other glass doors that needed wiped down with glass cleaner. The room was very nice and very clean. We didn't use the shower but the bathroom was clean. I did notice some mold on the caulking around the bathtub but again we didn't use it. The back of the remote that cover the batteries was missing and the bathroom switch did not work to shut the light off. There were only three pillows on a king size bed and they were half the size of standard pillows so we went down to the front desk and asked if we could have a fourth pillow and she said no they only provide three. The air conditioning worked great so we were happy with that. We had brought some takeout food back to the room for dinner and there was only one place for one person to sit as that is how it is set up in the room. So we sat on the bed and ate there which was fine. They definitely need to clean more but all in all for the price we were very happy with our stay and will be back."

Residence Inn Youngstown Warren/Niles ★★★

Best Western Park Hotel ★★★

"I did this booking because it was next to my friend's bar but I am handicapped on oxygen and my husband has a bad leg and is unable to climb 3 sets of stairs up to my room because their elevator was out and has been out for 2 weeks. I didn't find out that the elevator was out until I went to check in. I had to go somewhere else because they had no available rooms on the 1st floor. So instead of checking in at 6 pm and my husband being able to take a shower before we went out to celebrate our anniversary we had to find another hotel and rush to dinner so we could meet up with our friends and we were late. Then they refused to refund my money because I didn't let them know I was canceling before the 15th of the month. How am I supposed to let you know before the 15th when my reservation was on the 18th and I had no knowledge that the elevator was out of order 2 weeks ago! I will never use this hotel ever again! Ruined my entire night because my husband"

Fairfield Inn Warren Niles ★★★

"Compared to Resedence and HPton, the room soundproofing and room size are far different. Moreover, the parking fee of 10 dollars is inexplicably deducted every day, and the parking fee is deducted remotely without asking. Bad review."
