В отеле приветливый персонал, но сам отель старый, в номерах не очень чисто. Нас вообще хотели заселить в грязный номер, но мы попросили помыть или заменить. Расположение близко к пляжу, но далеко от всех кафе и инфраструктуры.

8.59815°, 81.22211° Our reservation at the well-reviewed Lonely Planet Anantamaa hotel did not go through and we were transferred to the disused Trincomalee Beach Hotel resort & spa, 1,7 km south from attractive dinning and drinking venues at Uppuveli Beach, 6 km north of Trincomalee. The hotel’s location was planned in the expectation that tourism in Uppuveli would expand to the south, but this has not happened. There are no restaurants, bars and shop nearby and in the unforeseeable future tourism would come to this part of Uppuveli beach, the lifespan of this hotel is beyond renovation. In March 2024, room 404 (4F) smelt like a disused hotel room, with the usual lack of maintenance and cleaning. On the positive was the working air conditioning, celling fan and Wi-Fi reception and the comfortable bed. We did not check the mattress, having seen many dirty mattresses in the storage room opposite our room. Besides the double bed, a spare bed had been placed in the room for local families. For breakfast, the restaurant was reopened with limited options. The swimming pool was open and loungers on the beach were available. Spa and bar were closed. The hastily recalled staffs had no idea what to do. The demolition of Trincomalee Beach Resort & Spa is pending. Don’t stay here.

I had a rat in my room and I was not the only one. Most of the staff doesn't speak English. The door to the balcony did not close as the handle was broken in most rooms. Only positive about this hotel is the view and the cook. Waiters inefficient...

It’s not good. Rooms need to be updated. No facility to hang anything behind the door. Good is too expensive and buffet didn’t have many choice.

We stayed here for two nights. Panoramic view of the ocean from our balcony was stunning. Very friendly & welcoming staff. Clean & tidy rooms. We didn't have hot water on the first day which was a bit disappointing. The security in this hotel was the best. We tried A-la-carte menu one night and the food was delicious. Overall we had a lovely stay here.

This venue has the best beach front view on their own yard and a huge swimming pool facility. A great atmosphere around this property keep my group entertained all day long. Team players from f/o Sudarshan & Murshid did a great job with the help of other staff to keep things moving in a professional manner. All three major meal was delicious and served as buffet to all. The f&b operations took under Mr.Anandh and the requirements for the group done adequately. A request from a group guest to me to facilitate a surprised birthday cake done with in a timely manner with the help of pastry chef and it was delivered to the best satisfaction. Good job team ..!! Hope you may continue the same for the better growth of this esteemed organization.

Our factory staff visited to Trincomalee Beach Resort for day outing on 30.09.2023. In fact, they treated us them in a very poor manner. Below points are the unsatisfactory service which has been provided by them. Although welcome drink was asked to be prepared for 160, it was not arranged for all staff. The chicken deviled that we ordered at 10.30 am was delivered around 1.30 pm and it was not in good quality. They agreed to open the buffet for 150, from 12.30 to 3.30, but it was limited to 1.30 to 2.30 initially . They were Providing foods without quality and standard. Failed to provide afternoon tea and snacks also. This was totally management failure of Mr. Sudarshan. Rooms were not arrange on time. Lack of water in washrooms. So please don't waste your valuable time and money by going a this kind of hotel.

I came with an Indian group of 12 and I was the guide of that group.. The location is fantastic and more than the location I was got surprised by the Housekeeping executive / Manager GOPI’s attitude.. Rooms were allocated for the group were in two floors as I asked him to arrange the same in the same floor his answer was” AlRIGHT SIR GIVE ME Half and hour” This stuck me in mind and he has given the rooms in the same floor within no time and group was happy too.. He was smily and always ready to listen . He is a asset to this property.. Gopi best of luck and keep the good work and it will pay you back one day..

Oh my god! If this is the last place on earth to go I suggest you stay home. This was our last stop before we concluded our little family trip around Sri Lanka. It was a nightmare! Big big mistake we made by not looking at the reviews and quickly deciding to stay here. Thank god it was just one night’s stay. Where to begin, Arrival - we were shown a room with a dirty floor so I requested for another and on an upper floor since they mentioned they are having the staff party I expected it to be noisy. So we were given an old tired looking room with many defects including the sink leaking and flooding the entire bathroom floor. We requested a room change and we’re put back to the same room with dirty floor and I request it to be cleaned. No welcome drink served. In room - now starts the real thing Room had amenities only for two pax, requested to make it a triple as we paid for a triple but we had to go get the amenities from the service cart. AC was not effective at all during day time and mosquitoes in the room at night. Bottled refilled water - god knows where and how they were filled. We did not use them. There were no spoons to make tea 😂 Bathroom and room overall so so dirty, bed linen dirty and stained Bath linen so dirty and stinky and absolutely disgusting! Bath mat seemed like they have been used over a month with out washing! Room blinds broken so sunlight steeped in, what a pleasant experience to have while sleeping 😡 TV did not work as the bill was not paid Ceiling fan covered in dust so had we switched it on, we would still be recovering from the dust bomb that would hit us. The pool was dirty and discolored tiles were everywhere and the best one is no markings of depth in the pool, no pool attendant or life guard on duty during operation hours we had to go and ask how deep it is… This place does not meet even the basic cleaning and H&S standards!
