Having been rained out of our tent whilst on a camping holiday, we booked Lucy's Nest lodge whilst sat in the car looking for dog friendly accomodation. Booking in is normally 3pm or later but we arrived not long after booking, about 11am, and explained to the owners what had happened to us and they went above and beyond being very accomidating and making us feel very welcome, even lit the fire for us. The lodges are beautiful inside and out and have all you need for a comfortable stay. The few days we will spend here will more than compensate for the bad start to our Welsh holiday. Can wholly recommend them if you are looking for a stress free peaceful holiday.

I am currently staying at Bodnolwyn Wen for 4 nights. It’s February and I’ve brought my 2 children (13 years & 18 months) and our small dog here. I cannot recommend this beautiful log cabin highly enough! The cabin is so cosy, clean and warm with everything you could possibly need. The farm is beautiful! My dog is running around making friends with the owner’s two gorgeous, gentle Labradors. My 13 year old loves the upstairs, hideaway bedroom. He’s got his all important wi-fi, a big open area to play football and loads of board games provided by the lodge for when I make him put his phone down! My 18 month old is having the time of her life. She has the big open space to run about safely and loves going to feed the horses every morning and walking around the farm. The owners, Diana and Robert are so friendly. They cannot do enough for you. Lots of local things to do if you choose to venture out. We don’t want to leave and will definitely be back!
