"Uxua is a beautiful facility in a magical setting. We (3 couples) stayed in Casa Luz, a private villa with 3 bedrooms with en suite baths, common living room/kitchen, and private pool/patio. It’s a quick walk to both the quadrado and the beach (where food, drinks, clean bathrooms, and reserved beds are all available). Booking the Casa includes a full breakfast prepared and served in your private dining area. Fresh fruits/juices/baked goods/etc… more than we could eat! Each bedroom is air conditioned, and while there are no window screens, there is mosquito netting for the beds and we were fine sleeping. If I could make one change to Casa Luz, I would add more comfortable seating! Unfortunately Uxua seems to focus more on aesthetics than comfort. So while the furnishings look beautiful in the photos, in reality the wood chairs in the living/dining areas are brutal to sit in for more than a few minutes, and the large lounger on the covered patio only seats 4. There was really no place in this villa for all 6 of us to gather together comfortably for conversation. Regardless, the Uxua staff goes out of their way to make your stay special. We had a fantastic visit and I would absolutely stay again."

"In my eyes, the eyes of the travellers, the Capim Santo Hostel is one of the most traditional and charming Trancoso in Bahia, and for me it is the best. Located in the famous square, the historical centre of the village, the hostel combines comfort, nature and a touch of rustic sophistication. At less than 30 steps you will be walking on the sands of the square, where you bubble night life in the high season. The restaurant is another high place in the hostel, under the battle of the chef Sandra Marques, and offers creative meals based on fish and marine fruits, focusing on Brazilian ingredients and original recipes. In addition, Capim Santo adopts sustainable practices and offers activities focused on well-being and self-consciousness, such as yoga classes, meditation, cocoa ceremony and holistic therapies such as thetahealing and soundhealing. It is located about 700 metres from the nearest beach. In the high season it is better to walk or to the beach very early, but very early. If you are still in doubt, summarize; the Capim Santo Hostel is ideal for anyone who seeks a hosting experience that combines comfort, nature and well-being in one of the most charming destinations of Brazil."

"Die Unterkunft ist klein, aber es ist eine Freude, das Zimmer ist gut sauber. Für die Mädchen q arbeiten dort sind sehr nett und das Frühstück ist großartig. Die Unterkunft befindet sich buchstäblich im Trancoso Quadrat. Der einzige negative Punkt sind die Pernilongen."

"Der höchste Punkt der Unterkunft ist die Lage, befindet sich in einem Platz neben anderen Gästen, und hat bereits einige Attraktionen wie Acaraja und Tapioca-Bars, sowie auch Handwerk. Außerdem ist es sehr nahe dem Trancoso-Quadrat, nicht 5 Minuten zu Fuß zu den Restaurants. Wir waren sehr gut empfangen, wir sind vor der Eincheckung angekommen und wir hinterlassen die Dinge im Hostel, auch uns die Touren gezeigt. Das gesamte Personal der Unterkunft ist aufmerksam und erzieherisch. Im Zusammenhang mit dem Zimmer, hat es etwas zu wünschen übrig. Er ist sauber und komfortabel, aber in unserem Fall war er vor dem Frühstücksbereich und der Passage in andere Zimmer, und die Tür war balkon, ohne Fenster. Daher konnten wir die Tür nicht öffnen, ohne die Privatsphäre zu verlieren. Ich hatte auch keine Wahl, einen Garten zu schließen und die Tür offen zu lassen. Da es vor dem Kaffee stand, wir wachten vor der Zeit mit der Beförderung vor Ort."

"Everything was exceptional. Even before we arrived the team offered help in getting transport. The pousada is rustic and wonderful set between a variety of trees by the river. It’s a short walk to the beach and the quadrado - a perfect location! Our room was clean, comfortable and decorated nicely. The pool area was always clean and well maintained and enjoyed by our small son. Breakfast was delicious every single day with a range of options prepared by hand. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The owner gave us a lift to the quadrado and gave advice and recommendations for the area which were always excellent. The only negative was only staying 2 nights! I can’t wait to return."
