Ecocamp Patagonia

Wir haben hier zwei Nächte gebucht, auf ******* (nicht das komplette Paket mit den Ausflügen). Diese Zimmer sind nicht billig, aber sie sind jeden Cent wert – es ist ein unglaubliches Erlebnis. Die Kuppeln: Wir landeten tatsächlich eine Nacht in einer Standardkuppel und die zweite Nacht in einer Superior-Kuppel. Wir wollten an beiden Nächten eine Superior-Kuppel, aber es war keine verfügbar. Und es stellte sich heraus, dass das auch besser so war, da wir das Erlebnis in einer Standardkuppel tatsächlich spezieller fanden – es ist eine kleine, gut isolierte Kuppel und es fühlt sich ein bisschen mehr wie ein Erlebnis an. Es hat Spaß gemacht und die Gemeinschaftsbäder waren in der Nähe, sauber und in Ordnung. Die Superior-Kuppel ist nett, aber es fühlt sich mehr wie ein normales Hotelzimmer an, daher ist es nicht so besonders – natürlich ist es schön, ein eigenes Bad und ein bisschen mehr Platz zu haben, aber wenn ich es noch einmal täte, würde ich wahrscheinlich die ganze Zeit in einer Standardkuppel übernachten. Das Erlebnis: Der Service ist tadellos. Das Personal war bei allem super hilfsbereit – es gab uns Informationen zu den Wanderungen (wir hatten unser eigenes Auto und machten sie auf eigene Faust), half uns beim Organisieren von Lunchpaketen und half uns, unsere Sachen problemlos zwischen den Kuppeln zu transportieren, während wir unterwegs waren. Das Essen: köstlich. Ich hatte nicht mit Drei-Gänge-Menüs gerechnet, die so fantastisch waren – das Essen war einfach richtig gut und der Wein war auch im Preis inbegriffen. Sonstiges: Es gab auch tägliche Yoga-Stunden, die gut waren, um nach einem ganzen Wandertag die Muskeln zu dehnen. Das Grundstück ist hübsch, hat eine gute Lage und alles daran verändert Ihr Erlebnis im Park. Und dass es keinen WLAN- oder Handyempfang gibt, trägt auch zur Atmosphäre bei! :)

My best friend and I traveled to Chile to celebrate my 35th birthday as Patagonia had been a longtime dream of mine. We spent 4 nights at Eco Camp and had the most incredible experience! The domes suite domes were cozy with the added luxury of a private bathroom. And the heat was much needed that time of year. Our first day we went on a leisurely fauna tour where we had an amazing encounter with a young male puma, as well as countless spottings of the various wildlife in the area! Day two, we did the m base trek and were lucky enough to get almost full visibility of the towers right before heading back. Rodrigo was our guide for both hikes, to our delight! He has such a vast knowledge and incredible spirit, we were grateful to get to spend so much time with him! Our third and final day was spent on the boat as we toured Gray Glacier and lake, a more relaxed excursion but not to be missed with its breathtaking views. All the staff at the eco camp were so pleasant and helpful. The food was fresh and delicious, with plenty of great GF free options. I very much enjoyed the daily yoga classes, and the massage was sublime, the perfect way to end my visit after long days of hiking. As someone who is very passionate about sustainability, I really appreciated the level of detail in keeping this place truly eco-friendly. I also very much enjoyed the digital detox of being completely disconnected from the outside world for a few days. For those that prefer the comforts and luxuries of a resort while still being fully immersed in nature and enjoying the more challenging day hikes in the park, then EcoCamp is the place for you! Highly highly recommend! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Great food, great service, drinks were amazing, and the domes are very comfy. No complains at all, the service all around was fantastic, from transportation to room arrangements, they took care of the group very well. You will not go hungry on this camp, food and drinks are plenty and delicious options.

Amazing hotel. Intrinsically sustainable, yet very confortable. Staff as friendly as it gets and the food was delicious. The location, awesome. Plenty of well planned activities. You will not regret a trip to stores del Paine at Ecocamp!

We had an amazing stay at EcoCamp! My expectations were blown out of the water. The food was amazing, lodging was great, staff were top notch! 10/10 would recommend. The hiking and views... also incredible! Tip: bring layers, it's cold in April!

Our stay at Ecocamp was amazing! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is beautiful. I stayed in a four-person dome: the beds were luxurious, there was a wood stove to stay warm(the staff would even come start it for you) and a bathroom in the dome. The food was delicious and gourmet. This added to the whole trekking experience in Torres Del Paine which was an amazing experience with two awesome guides. 10/10 trip and would definitely recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at EcoCamp. We did the partial W trip which included all of the main parts (and challenges!) Of the W trail. Our guides Fabian & Martin were absolutely fantastic. So knowledgeable, supportive and encouraging through the journey. The food was absolutely delicious and so helpful for me being a Coeliac (gluten free). It was top quality cuisine and much needed after big days of hiking. The domes themselves were also wonderful and it was such a beautiful space. It'll be in my memories forever as a top lifetime experience and I would recommend to anyone who has the money and wants to go to Torres del Paine. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer!

I’ve never done a luxury glamping experience before so this truly blew me out of the water! The care and attention by the entire team was amazing. Everyone was so kind! From the yoga dome to the incredible food- there’s so much to see and do onsite as well as offsite. Our guide Pablo was a pleasure to be around- he showed us Patagonia in an unforgettable way. I‘ll definitely be returning one day to do the longer O trek & recommend the experience to all!

Did I step over a magic line when I exited the van at EcoCamp? Surely the calming peace I felt at such a simple start could not last. But it did and only became a stronger feeling of I was meant to be here. Every previous review I read, while wonderful, didn't sink in that that too could be me until it was. I was lucky with weather & luckier still with my awesome guides Paola & Marina. Also Joaquin who stayed with me when I slowed down on a hike, Vale who started me off with a great welcoming in Puerto Natales and Paulina at Cascada who helped me start this journey I can't thank you enough. EcoCamp had so many smiling friendly staff but sadly I didn't get everyones names but Raul & Vanessa at the information dome were both wonderful. I was in a spacious Suite dome with a view of the towers not that I spent much time there. I didn't light the stove but the bed covers were just enough to keep me warm. It was a short walk to the community dome but at night I recommed a headlamp or flashlight. The community dome was just that the right place to meet new adventurers & compare notes. It had both indoor & outdoor spaces to relax. I did easy trails but some others had a bit of weather higher up making those hikes a lttle tougher but they were still smiling. So much food to choose from including vegan, veggie & gluten free for breakfast & to pack your lunch. The dinners were beyond fantastic. I had many rainbows, sunrises, Milky Way & Southern Cross and the rain & wind waited til dark & cleared by day time. I must admit the wind at night was fierce & shook my dome but I was safe & comfy. Aside from people & food and the location (wow) it was the carbon neutral, no waste, let's be greener than green that warmed me to the core. They practice what they preach. I think that above all is what I took away from this awesome place & the people I met there that I must do better to protect our planet. The beauty of Torres del Paine & the experience at Ecocamp were the highlights of my month traveling around Chile.
