Haven House

Had a 5 night stay at Haven House Torquay and after a long 5 hour drive I was warmly welcomed by Mel and shown to my room. The room was clean and well furnished, and I had everything I needed for my stay. Parking was free on the street. The B&B is in a quiet location and only a 10 minute walk to the promenade. With just 6 rooms it is a small B&B, with rooms downstairs and upstairs, just one flight of stairs. There is an excellent variety of breakfast options each morning with Mel front of house and Alistair cooking. The fried breakfast was utterly delicious every morning with quality produce and cooked to perfection. Plenty of tea, coffee, toast, juice and fruit to choose from as well. My room was refreshed every day and a really nice touch was the two Celebrations every time I returned to my room. It was a wonderful stay with the perfect hosts and a lovely B&B. Highly recommend Haven House.

The hosts Mel & Alistair are amazing hosts. They have the right mix of being friendly helpful, caring & professional. They show an interest in what ever you are doing. They certainly make you feel at home. The house & rooms are spotless & clean. The beds are comfortable. The rooms have everything you need. They even supply a few chocolates & biscuits with the teas, coffees & bottles of water. The rooms have everything one should need, great shower soap &shower soap. The location is central & surrounded by restaurants & near the seafront all within a short easy walk. There is also free parking in the street.

The welcome from the owners was very friendly and helpful. The room, bed, facilities and parking were excellent. The breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked. Will definitely be staying there again when we are in Torquay. Thanks again.
