Well just returned from this fabulous establishment, with my friends and it’s definitely a place I will be going to again. Erica the host very lovely and charming. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She didn’t just hand the key over and and direct. She took me to the room explained everything. Erica also takes great care with the breakfast she takes the order day before and it’s done for the time you want it. The waiting staff were very nice and hard workers. The bar very reasonable prices. The room was spotless bathroom was amazing. Seriously I can’t fault the hotel AT ALL. Thanks Erica and Staff. See you July 2025 Adam Clarke

Lovely location, lots of nice little touches in the room like body lotion and shampoo and conditioner, free snacks and a mini bar etc. Breakfast was nice with lots of choice and the bed was really comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely welcome by Erica and appreciated that our room was ready early. Lovely spacious family room with high ceilings. Very clean with good info in welcome pack. Stunning views and enjoyed a drink from our minibar sat in the garden and a cuppa in the morning. Very generous complimentary snacks which our boys loved and a well stocked mini bar. Comfy beds and a cool room considering the very warm weather recently which was appreciated. Nice kettle with generous range of teas and coffee and hot chocs. Beautiful bone china cups and saucers and little gold spoons and really lovely water glasses in the bathroom. Good parking available. Only downside was the small size of the bathroom for a family room and quite a tight space for the toilet but lovely shower. Breakfast was delicious and the perfect size portion plus cereals and yogs and toast - everything we needed. Great location too as just a 5 minute walk into the harbour. Would definitely return to Robin Hill if visit Torquay again and thank you for a lovely visit.

Comfortable room with everything we needed. Good bed. Nice range of free snacks in the room. Breakfast served promptly and a good choice. This was ordered the night before on arrival. Would definitely stay again if we were in the area. House has lots of character!

Such lovely welcoming hosts, nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was beautifully clean and comfortable and the hotel is charming with character and history. The full English breakfast was delicious. Thank you for a great stay, we would definitely recommend.

Great stay, room was lovely and clean, enough room for a dog bed. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice which was brought to your table. The table was set up for us in the lounge area so we could bring the dog with us. Very friendly staff and a nice break in Torquay.

This hotel was close to the theatre and loads of eateries. Great value. The breakfast was second to none. The staff were friendly and helpfully. I would recommend and definitely stay here again. Nice family run business. Clean comfy and local to all attractions .

We were touring UK from Australia. Found ourselves in Torquay. Hadn't booked any accommodation in advance. Inquired hopefully at Robin Hill. Manager Andrew welcomed us as walk in guests, even though we just needed 1 night's stay. Well, what a lovely stay it proved to be. Pity we were on a tight schedule, else we would have happily stayed longer. The hotel certainly lived up to all the descriptions given on their website. Our room was well appointed and the bed warm and comfortable. Nice views from our room and the lounge/garden area. Truly magnificent breakfast cooked by Angela and beautifully served up by Ada. Thank you, Andrew and team. Very enjoyable experience!

Booked this hotel for a one night stay with my wife and couldn’t have chosen better. Short walk to harbour with the bars and restaurants and on site parking as well. Warm and friendly welcome from Andrew who was superb from booking to checking out and beyond. Hotel is full of character, clean and with all amenities you would expect. Most memorable was the full English breakfast (the best we had both had for as long as we could remember) with the view through the veranda to the church spire and roof tops. Unfortunately on returning home my wife realised she had left some clothes in the wardrobe but before we had chance to call, Andrew contacted us to let us know and went out of his way to arrange for them to be returned via parcel service the same day. That’s what I call exceptional customer service. All in all a fantastic stay, a great host and superb value for money. We will be returning without doubt.
