Check-in was easy after hours even though will be charged a late check in fee. Staff are okay, some not too friendly but night security guy was very helpful at welcoming. The location is awesome as you have close access to the streetcar, metro stations 5-10 minutes' walk and easy access to fast food and grocery stores. The dorms are spacious; however, the downside is if you end up with a top bunk there is not power outlet access as they are all on the bottom so you may have to power up in the sitting area outside the dorm or next door in the common area (kitchen and lounges). There have been complaints about the unhoused encampment across the street in the park, but it wasn't as much as expected but still quite the eye sore for the business but it's manageable as its pretty much people walking their dogs. The place is very clean, which is strictly enforced and a good thing (especially the kitchen). I like that! The next time I am in Toronto I will definitely stay here and would recommend. Clarence Park saved me hundreds of dollars on a near the airport hotel.

Freundliches Personal am Frontdesk, reibungsloser Eincheckung. Es gibt alles, was Sie in dem scharf sauberen Zimmer brauchen, obwohl ich das kleinste Zimmer geblieben habe. Waschbecken ist verfügbar. Lage ist ausgezeichnet. Es gibt einen 24-hour Komfortladen über die Hauptstraße. Die Nachbarschaft ist wunderschön. Wirklich genossen den Aufenthalt. Wird nächstes Mal wiederkommen.

The location is perfect, a ten-minute walk from the Union Station and just adjacent to the ferry pier to Toronto Island. The ferry just cost 8.70 CAD for round trip for 20 mins. It is a nice place to visit, especially those who enjoy nature. We booked a room facing the lake, which is highly recommended. It is a real picture taken in the early morning from the window. The room service is nice and the buffet breakfast with lots of varieties of food. I needed to have a zoom meeting, and the internet service is stable. Though it is a paid service, it was waived as I am Bonvoy Member. Do join their membership.

Vielleicht weil es ein neu gebautes Hotel ist, die Ausstattung gut ist und es sehr sauber ist! (Taxi Der Fahrer sagte, es sei dieses Jahr gebaut worden) Man kann die Vorhänge mit einem einzigen Tastendruck schließen und das Licht ausschalten, während man auf dem Bett liegt :) Es ist wirklich bequem. Die Betten sind weich und das Hotelpersonal ist alle freundlich!! Annehmlichkeiten wie Shampoo und Spülung waren gut und es gab einen Haartrockner, einen Bademantel, einen Kühlschrank sowie Kaffee und Tee in Nespresso-Kapseln im Zimmer. Im 3. Stock gibt es einen Swimmingpool und einen Fitnessraum. Vor allem lag es in der Nähe der U-Bahn, so dass es großartig war, die Innenstadt zu besichtigen!!

Der TV ist groß und mit hoher Auflösung. Bett ist gut gefärbt und das Zimmer ist sauber. Es fühlt sich bequem, wenn ich im Zimmer wandele. Es gibt Lotion und Gesichtswasch im Badezimmer. Alle Möbel scheinen einfach, aber großartig.

Conveniently located with walking distance to restaurants bars and coffee shop. Nearby train station and free shuttle bus services to and fro airport. Clean and quietly with a gym restaurant and bar. I stay here when travelling to Toronto. Great hotel to stay.

Das Hotel ist sehr groß, mit einem ** im ersten Stock, einem Theater und einer Pferderennbahn, was großartig ist! Das Zimmer ist groß, die Einrichtungen sind neu, sauber und hygienisch, die Transportmöglichkeiten sind bequem, es gibt eine kostenlose Tiefgarage und der Preis ist hoch!

My wife and I recently spent three nights at the TownPlace Suites hotel in Markham, Ontario. We booked the room with our Bonvoy points, so I can’t comment on price. Markham is a suburb about 15 miles north of Toronto. We picked this location since it was near relatives we were visiting. It’s located on a fairly busy highway with various commercial businesses nearby. There is a Chinese restaurant (QJD Peking Duck), which we did not visit, on the first floor. The thirteen-story building actually holds two Marriott properties: Courtyard by Marriott on floors 2 - 8 and TownPlace on floors 9 - 14. The registration desk serves both hotels. The lobby has several areas for socializing. There also is a Bistro/Bar area. Conference rooms, a business center and a spa are off to the side. A fitness center and indoor pool are on the lower level. Wifi is free. Surprisingly, parking is not. Signs say that it costs $6 Canadian per day to park in the attached multi-level garage, but we apparently were not charged. Check-in was courteous and efficient. You need your keycard to access the elevator. TIP: There is no 13th floor; the elevator buttons go from 12 to 14! We were assigned room 915. TIP: the room was almost across the hall from the ice machine and one wall of the room directly abutted the elevator bank. While the noise was neglible, you might want to keep this in mind if you’re a very light sleeper. The room was clean and decorated in what I would call ikea style. It was like living in a studio apartment. A flat screen TV was on a two-drawer chest/dresser. A wall-mounted desk had overhead shelving, a vertical cupboard, desk chair and rollout table. The kitchen section had a sink, two-burner electric range top, coffee pot, microwave, dishwasher (!) and fairly large refrigerator. There were multiple cabinets and drawers filled with practically every kitchen item you’d need: pots, pans, dishes, flatware, soap, etc. And if they’re still something you might need, chances are you can get it from the front desk. (See pic.) A full-size closet contained an iron/ironing board. No sign of a safe. The sitting area contained a loveseat, ottoman and floor lamp. The king-size bed had five pillows. The bed was a little soft, but comfortable. It was flanked by nightstands and wall-mounted lamps with electric outlets. 
The bathroom was average-sized. The vanity had lots of counter space and several drawers. And a hair dryer. The shower was quite large, taking up about a third of the room. There was wall-mounted hand soap and hair/body wash (in the shower) by ALICE & Co+ botanicals. Shower pressure and temperature were fine. TIP: Don’t be alarmed when you flush the toilet - the sound is comparable to that generated by an airplane commode. Breakfast was included with the room and was served on the 14th floor. Wir blieben im September beim DoubleTree vor dem Fliegen nach Griechenland und waren wirklich beeindruckt! Alles war sehr sauber und die Dekoration war modern und aktualisiert. Robert, unser Server bei der Taza Grill, war froh, mit zu reden, und das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Joseph und das Front Desk Personal waren sehr freundlich und professionell und der Flughafenschiffführer Qurshi hatte ein wunderbares Humorgefühl und half, unsere Erfahrung zu einem wirklich angenehmen zu machen. Wir werden sicher zurück sein!
