"The room's cleanliness was just so-so; there were stains on the pillows that weren't properly cleaned or thoroughly washed. The hotel has a mini-pool, and it wasn't overly crowded. It seemed to cater mostly to locals visiting friends and family, so it was relatively peaceful. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive; the meat patties were a bit soggy and not very tasty. However, one room can cover breakfast for five people, which is a plus, though the breakfast service ends quite early. The bottled water in the room was tiny. The front desk staff sometimes weren't very friendly when providing bottled water, but calling housekeeping on the room phone was a more pleasant and effective way to get it. Perhaps this hotel is considered decent in its local area, but compared to hotels in more bustling cities or locations, it's just adequate, given that it's in a central city."

"The stay was fine, rooms decent enough. There was no breakfast despite being advertised as included in the reservation. Tv didn’t work, and there was no ice machine. Could be improved with some basic things."

"We booked a room with a couch, I was told that the only room like that was on the second floor and because I had a pet (which was known at time of booking)and our room would need laminate floors we could only stay on the first floor therefore we would not have a couch. Explained the need for the couch and the length of our stay. Was told no. I saw pictures of rooms with laminate floors that had couches on the website so was a bit confused, but let that be. When getting to the room, I saw that the furniture was very worn and the seating very sparce. The beds creaked and were shaky, but we managed. It was advertised that there was an indoor pool, but apparently it was not functioning. This was not mentioned on the website for this location. I was planning on letting my grandchildren swim and I wanted to hot tub myself. It was advertised to have a hot breakfast. We were lucky to get weak coffee and cold cereal. Small packaged muffins were sometimes available. This is not what I call a hot breakfast. The staff were very pleasant and as helpful as they could be under the conditions of the motel. When we walked our dog, we had to be careful so to not have her walk on broken glass or beer cans. We were almost certain if we explored more we would have found needles, there were grocery carts all around and pretty sure homeless lived around the trash bins. We are from Topeka and back visiting for my grandson's music concert. We knew that area so was surprised to find it in such disarray. You would have thought for the area of town the motel would have been kept up better."

"Die ganze Erfahrung war HORS von der Eincheckung bis zum Auschecken!!! Die Leute hangen das Fenster auf dem oberen Stock, als wir aufgezogen waren. Es gab keinen Aufzug im Gebäude und niemand, der mit dem Gepäck helfen konnte. Wir haben für einen kurzen Aufenthalt in den Tagen im Voraus gezahlt, die Einzahlung bei Ankunft gezahlt, und wir waren zurück, um unsere eigenen Taschen auf 2 Treppenflüge zu tragen!!! Wir fanden im Zimmer vom Kaffeecreme bis zu Süßigkeiten-Verpackungen verlassenes Gepäck, als wir zuerst ins Geh! So war es offensichtlich nicht gründlich gereinigt oder leer! Der Tub war extrem schmutzig!! Das Bettwäsche hatte Löcher! Beide Betten riechen HORSELL!! Wir gingen in einen Laden und kauften unsere eigenen Reinigungs- und Sanitärartikel, Bettwäsche und Badehandtücher. Der Kühlschrank war schmutzig und der TV hatte keine Fernbedienung. Der Vorderbüroagent musste einen Fernseher von einem anderen Zimmer bringen und es auf den TV programmieren. Die Hallen riechen wie Zigaretten am Tag und ********* jede Nacht! Die anderen Leute im Hotel waren arm und versuchen ständig, Wege zu finden, um Lebensmittel, Getränke und Geld zu stehlen! Sowohl natürlich als auch geistlich!!! Das war eines der schlimmsten Orte, die ich jemals gewesen bin!!!!"
