JJ LeonardoWe are so lucky to get this property as our acommodation. The owner so helpful, he told me to contact him before our arrival. Turn out, he gave us a free pick up service from bus terminal to his place. He also gave us some suggestion to maximalize our trip in Wuzhen.
Room is not big as it take one room in an authentic Wuzhen old house. Location is very strategic. Close to the west entrance of Dongzha (east region), and our backdoor (and window) are direct to the river (and bridge too). Our room come with complimentary chinese tea (too bad we didn't got time to try it out).
Eventhough the bathroom is small, it is clean and have hot water running well.
And to top it all, the owner also gave us free ride to the bus station after our stay. Thank you very much

GGastnutzerit is a very nice hotel. I was there second time. Very clean, staff is very responsitive. Near the hotel you can find a big shopping mall. It is not far from railway station. Only 15 min.

Von der wunderschönen Landschaft von Wuzhen Xipeng über die einzigartigen Zimmer mit Seeblick im Tong'an bis hin zu unserem Butler Xiao Dang, der sich in jeder Hinsicht perfekt um meine Familie und mich gekümmert hat – alles war absolut begeisternd.
Der Butler kontaktierte uns bereits einen Tag vor der Anreise, um einen Parkplatz für uns zu reservieren, und holte uns am Anreisetag direkt am Parkplatz ab. Da wir mit unserem Kind eine Autoreise unternahmen und unterwegs viele Dinge einkauften, hatten wir immer mehr Gepäck. Xiao Dang half uns nicht nur beim Tragen der Sachen, sondern organisierte auch den Gepäcktransport – eine enorme Erleichterung für uns.
Er kümmerte sich um jedes Detail. Zudem gab es im Tong'an täglich frische Desserts und Obst, was äußerst aufmerksam war. Auch das kostenlose Bogenschießen hat unserem Kind sehr gut gefallen.
Zusammenfassend lässt sich sagen, dass dieser Aufenthalt meine Familie überaus zufrieden gestellt hat. Beim nächsten Besuch in Wuzhen werden wir definitiv wieder hier übernachten.

MMelody Cowe took a bus from shanghai pudong airport to jiaxing north station then just took a taxi via didi in alipay to get here. the homestay location was great since they were just beside the No. 2 Gate. For foreigners, we needed to get tickets and show our passports to the visitor center just around 100 meters away from the gate and hotel. from before our arrival all the way to check in, i was in touch with them already via wechat and the response was always very quick and helpful. we liked that the inn also had a free shuttle service on call for us and took us back and forth to dongzha (and old street beside it), as well as the bus station to get to suzhou. The uncle was also very helpful and friendly, ever ready to help us with our luggage all the way to the 3rd floor and to give us his recommendations on timings, directions and such. The younger family member in the front desk was also very helpful! They told us not to engage with the many people offering day trips outside just to be safe. They also lent us umbrellas for the rain and sun, and even band-aids.
We would gladly stay at this B&B again but request a lower floor like the 2nd just because we usually go back mid-day and tend to forget stuff so the flights of stairs is something to consider if you're not up to the exercise. The room and toilet were very clean and good value for money! They were also very considerate as to putting all scents away upon my request. Just beside the B&B were small groceries, eateries and stores so we walked around also at night. For wuzhen, we did xizha only first next to the hotel from 4pm onwards for one day then dongzha ,old street (morning to afternoon) and xizha at night again the next day to save on the ticket costs.

The rooms are simple but comfortable, and the price is very reasonable — especially compared to the hotels inside the old town. What makes this place special is the local touch: the family that runs it is incredibly friendly, and they also run a small dining area where the food is home-cooked by locals. Meals are served in generous portions and full of flavor — great if you want to try authentic home-style Chinese food.
During check-out, we even received a small farewell gift, which was a really sweet surprise. The owner also helped us book a car to our next city at a better price than what we found on the usual apps.
Overall, I’d highly recommend this place for budget-conscious travelers, especially foreigners who are looking for something local, warm, and real. You don’t have to stay inside Wuzhen’s tourist area to enjoy your visit — this guesthouse gives you everything you need, with a touch of true hospitality.

AAnonymer BenutzerThe hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk from Wuzhen Xizha’s entrance. I loved the spaciousness of both the living and bathroom areas. The large window brought in plenty of natural light, and the king-size bed was especially impressive—larger than other hotels I stayed in during the trip.
However, the bathroom flush didn’t work smoothly (though it still functioned), and the walls weren’t soundproof. Our neighbors talked loudly until around 2 AM and I could hear everything clearly. Eventually, I had to get up, knock on their door, and ask them to lower their voices so I could rest.
Breakfast was simple. Since we visited during a quieter time, the kitchen didn’t seem fully open, and the food variety was limited. They offered packaged boiled eggs and pickles, together with boiled rice, mantou bun, yogurt cup, and half a corn cob for each person.
For the staff, they were wonderful and made me feel at ease during my stay. They also gave great advice on getting to Nanxun and proper taxi fares (around 60 yuan one way, though Didi rides cost less. Returning from Nanxun, however, taxis seemed pricier).
As for the garden, it’s just as shown in the photos—small but charming. Anyhow, if you’re looking for a relaxing space, your room’s spaciousness might be a better option.

GGastnutzerIch habe meine Mutter mit nach Wuzhen genommen und mich für das Alila Hotel entschieden, weil meine Mutter gerne fotografiert und das Hotel und seine Umgebung daher gut als Check-in-Ort genutzt werden können. Es ist sehr fotogen. Machen Sie einfach ein Foto und es wird ein Kunstwerk sein. Das Servicepersonal des Hotels ist sehr begeistert. Der gesamte Prozess ist gut organisiert und leckeren Nachmittagstee, vielen Dank. Alle Artikel in der Minibar im Zimmer sind kostenlos und werden bei einer Verlängerung Ihres Aufenthalts wieder aufgefüllt. Darüber hinaus ist auch das Spa des Hotels sehr komfortabel und die Umgebung ist besser als in vielen Platin-Fünf-Sterne-Hotels! Es wird dringend empfohlen, hier zu übernachten, wenn Sie nach Wuzhen kommen.
