Amazing tavern style hotel. It offers breakfast in a way that allows you to visit various shops and select the delicacies you want. This together with the entire town that’s built to make travellers feel transported back to ancient China. This kind of immersive style experience is truly unique!

This is my second stay in Tongan within two months. The hotel’s location is incredibly convenient, situated right next to the tourism center. It’s walkable, so you don’t need to rely on a shuttle bus for check-in and check-out. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and quiet, even though they’re located away from the main street. The breakfast options are also great, with a variety of choices to suit different tastes. The staff is friendly and helpful, always ready to assist you. I want to express my gratitude to Ms. Wang (王月） for her exceptional service. She picked us up from the shuttle bus, helped us with the check-in process, and introduced us to the app, map, and facilities within the room as well as the attractions nearby. This made our stay much easier and more enjoyable.

Nice stay, near the entrance from tourist centre. Didnt manage to book zao cha ke, but hotel own breakfast is better

So pleasant and sweet, thank you for not dismissing me with ‘you can find the information if you just scan our WeChat!’ The room provided was gorgeous and Wuzhen Tong’an inn is huge. It was really nice to wake up amidst the sounds of washing dishes over lapping water. Wonton shop opposite the room over the canal. The water canals do not smell, and air was crisp (until the day-visitors arrive and they mostly smoke). Love the mahjong rooms that stick out over the water. This inn is situated close to the entrance of Xizha (West Scenic Area) and we were so charmed we never made it to Dongzha (east area). If you need reentry to xizha within 24hrs, scan your face at the hotel reception before exiting xizha. Their in-house restaurant was delicious! Also would suggest a very early morning walk (30min before sunrise), come back for the hotel breakfast, then head out again for morning market (早茶客). There is a family mart about 100m away if you need anything in the middle of the night. Wuzhen xizha is made of 2 long parallel sides flanking the canal. The side where tongan inn is on is a straight path, so do stay on Tongan inn side if you prefer flat grounds and need to get somewhere further quickly. The opposite side has more bridges to climb but is very pretty and has more corners to explore. If you are with elderly, this side is not recommended because of the climbing. The bridges also do not have railings and are always congested once the night crowd arrives close to sunset. But amazingly nobody fell into the river as far as I noticed. The crowds are really insane at night. The best time to enjoy xizha are really reserved for hotel guests staying inside xizha from closing time to before opening time. Wuzhen was great thanks to our accomodation. Highly recommended.

Very impressed with their service. We were there quite early and there are hotel front desk service at the scenic entrance. After check in, one can handover their baggage for storage first and later send to your room by the servicemen. Smooth check in procedure and u are ready for sightseeing by scanning your face into scenic spot. My family love this place so much. Will come back again. Special thanks to Xiao Quan, the conceirge man who introduce more of the scenic spots and keep me updated once in a while.

It suppose to be a great stay as this is the most expensive hotel during my trip, but it was terrible that aircon is not supply during a 30 plus degree's weather. Several way was propose by the hotel to settle the aircon issue, the end were change to other building with no sunlight could get in but still not as comfortable as if we have aircon. Thanks to the hotel providing fans for our room but would appreciate we can be informed during check in, it will simplify us from changing the room. Hotel said is because changing the aircon system from hot air to cold air will take 2-3days but I don't understand why cold air is available in the lobby. Plus my hotel at Shanghai can change the cold air to hot air in a second.

Great scenic location, but cleaning was disappointing. Dusty surfaces and unclean bathroom. Perfect for views, but not for those who prioritize cleanliness. And no clear instructions about where and how to redeem our breakfast.... won't return for next stay

We had an amazing stay in Tong An! We were given a free upgrade to the room overlooking the canal and it was so pretty and calm at night. The rooms were clean and modern and the service was awesome. They even had free porridge supper for guests at night.

We booked 2 rooms for two nights. Receptionist 纪丹阳 was very helpful and upgraded riverside rooms for us. We had a very good quality buffet breakfast.The location was very good as the rooms are inside the scenic area so we enjoyed taking photos in the morning and at night before 10 pm without crowd in the scenic area.I recommend to stay in this hotel at least one night in this scenic area to enjoy day and night experience.我们订了两间房，住两晚。前台接待员季丹阳非常乐于助人，还给我们升级了河边房。我们享用了非常优质的自助早餐。位置非常好，因为房间就在景区内，所以我们早上和晚上 10 点之前都可以拍照，景区内没有拥挤的人流。我建议在这个景区至少在这家酒店住一晚，享受白天和夜晚的体验。

Great location and free breakfast (we chose the buffet option as we felt it was more value-for-money). Rooms felt a bit old and there were some small flies (may have flown in when we opened the windows for ventilation). But great service and quite affordable!
