A very pleasant surprise for us, the place has a great weather, great accommodation for couples. The bathtub is perfect for two and a nice jacuzzi outside. The view is beautiful and a peaceful place. The service provided for Stella and Diana was amazing, very clean and the restaurant had a great selection, well served and delicious food. Great for trekking or biking and villa de Leyva and ráquira are very close to Alma. We loved the place and definitely recommend it.

They not only have great service and fine dining. It's all about the additional plans, amenities and experiences focused on connecting with nature, the person or people who accompany you, and yourself. It's pet friendly, the staff is polite and caring as well as the owners who personally look after their guests. I recommend it to anyone who's looking for a change of pace and who wants to get away from their routine.

Highly recommended. Interior decoration is spectacular. Service is kind and professional. AMAZING FOOD at the restaurant. I went with by wife and we enjoyed every second. We were able to disconnect from our day to day in the city and connect as a couple. The landscape is beautiful!

My and I decides to celebrate our anniversary in Villa de Leyva with 2 othe couples. Looking for hotels in the region we came across Hotel Alma some 20min from Villa de Leyva. We wanted to be close to town but in a quieter space. The hotel has just 12 rooms which are so comfortable and neetly designed that you just have to sleep a little longer. You can hear birds talking about in a small oasis in this dessert of Candelaria. The service is impecable, one of our tire got a flat and for a small tip they took care of taking it off, having it fixed and putting it back on. We just kept celebrating with our friends in the roman pool sized jacuzzi which is heated mainly by the sun. Electricity is produced with solar panels and they claim to have planted more than 4000 trees using compost from the organics from the kitchen. They've got a beautiful restaurant that is so good that makes you not want to eat in Villa de Leyva: their specialty is the Napolitan pizza made with sourdough, with italian tomates and herbs from their garden.

Alma means soul in Spanish, and it is rejoyced with the food, views, sounds of nature, walks and marvelous service given to you. Enjoy this secluded place in the mountains, give yourself some comfort and luxury in a great location. The food and drinks are a receipe for a great couples stay.

La habitación. Super cómoda y acogedora. Hay una caída de agua espectacular propia para relajarse. Lugar especial para relajarse tiene un clima muy agradable y el paisaje es espectacular. La calidez de sus empleados es de los mejor. Es un hotel super amigable con el ambiente y trabajan pensando en ser sostenibles.

Hermosa vista, excelente servicio. Nos acomodaron en habitaciones muy amplias con una cama deliciosa todo con una bella decoración, baño con ducha y una gran tina. Un área de desayuno frente a la montaña con hamaca. Pasamos unos días deliciosos y ofrecen área para recorrer en los senderos bien en bicicleta o caminando. Está alejado del bullicio. El servicio de restaurante excepcional, comida al estilo de los mejores, al igual comida casera si fuera necesario, yo requería comida especial y me dieron todo a gusto. La atención fue increíble y un jacuzzi delicioso, solo hay que esperar a que caliente un poco el agua para usarlo, pero por lo demás nuestra estancia fue memorable y queremos volver por más días.
