We booked this hotel in February 2025 for a weeks stay over New years eve and whilst the location is great we had a lot of issues . The main issue we had was with the cuisine and the restaurants. I was told (by email) that we didn't need to book any of the hotels restaurants but when we arrived we were told something completely different and given we had children in our group, some of those times were very late. We ate in the main restaurant (1st floor), three times and each evening the food was cold and got worse as the week progressed. On our last night in the hotel we had to send the food back three times as it was stone cold and very little empathy from the staff or from the restaurant manager. They even messed up a simple burger meal twice for my young nephew. Where we offered any complimentary drink or an apology and the answer to that is no. We had booked one of the other restaurants for 9pm and we didn't get served until 11:15pm with our order only been taken 30 minutes prior. This was an absolute joke. We also ate in this restaurant on new years year and the restaurant staff were fighting amongst themselves and hey all didn't seem to know what was going on with the set meal. There was no one in charge. Breakfasts while satisfactory leave a lot to be desired by a so called 4 star Hotel. Lack of plates, glasses, food and we lost count on the amount of times the coffee machines broke down. Whilst some may think these are trivial items, we paid a lot of money for our weeks stay and the most basic restaurant management and food hygiene were severely lacking. I'm sure this review will fall of deaf ears by the hotel management Positivies: great ski in and out location, ski shop staff and guides quality equipment, friendly bar staff, nice well maintained bedrooms. We will be lodging a complaint with the hotel and as above I'm sure it will fall on deaf ears.
