Travelodge Kettering Thrapston

Very pleasant stay

I was meeting my son for an overnight get together. Thrapston is half way for us and conveniently on the A14. I paid for early check in and the room was available for us at midday. I had to book a family room, as the Thrapston Travelodge does not have any double rooms. I had to pay for an upgrade which I really should not have had to do. Provide some double rooms please! I also paid for breakfast, which I had assumed would be a continental style, serve yourself. I wasn't expecting two or three items in a box!! Pretty poor! We went over to the attached diner and had a quick breakfast. Bin the breakfast box - waste of time! How about negotiating a deal with the attached food providers and give your guests a discount at the 'SubWays' etc? Much better value for money.

Poo stains on sheets and hair everywhere not very happy at all. Hair all over the bathroom poo stains on my sheets

Rooms are cleaned to a very high standard in every detail. All the staff are very friendly and helpful in many ways from providing water at reception and extra linen. Anne will occasionally iron my shirts if I'm stuck , she's like my mother at times and deserves a gold medal. Marina is holding the fort very well in place of cath who is on sick leave. Pete , lynne are at a very high standard and very professional to all that walk through the door. In general the place is a very friendly atmosphere and I love staying here.

Travelodges are good to stay in but all of them seem to have utterly abysmal Wi-Fi speeds In this day and age, this is unforgivable

Ideal for a night’s stop on the A14. Very welcoming, clean, warm and comfortable. We will definitely stay there again.
