When we arrived we had no boat slip. We always bring a boat. We were told that I booked online and did not reserve a slip. Not true! I always book the next year when I check out. Ask for a specific week and cabin and boat slip. We were able to get a slip. Next we unloaded in the cabin I booked last year. Someone came down and said we could move to a different cabin as the hot tub didn’t work. Don’t use the hot tub so we’re good. Then the manager comes down and very rudely and arrogant tells us we MUST move!! I said we booked this cabin last year and again very rudely and arrogantly said reservations are not guaranteed. After 20 plus years off and on its the first I’ve ever heard this. We moved of course. Manger has my email address and phone number and could have at anytime gotten in touch with me and let me know the cabin I booked was given to someone else! Just good business practice. Due to her rudeness we will not be returning as in the past few years customer service has gone down. Good news. We found a much newer place with more amenities and Wi-Fi, short walk to a wonderful beach, very private, half the price and reservations are guaranteed, first come first served! Good bye Self Creek.
