Das Old Coach House ist eine Oase und für jemanden der in der Nähe von Ripon eine Unterkunft sucht eine absolute Empfehlung. Das B&B liegt an einer eher wenig befahrenen Straße und ist sehr ruhig mit einem wunderschönen Garten. Der Empfang war überaus herzlich, das Zimmer war tip top und definitiv auf fünf Sterne Niveau. Es gab noch eine gemütliche Sitzecke, bei schlechtem Wetter, kann das den Aufenthalt deutlich verschönern. Das Frühstück bestellt man abends, serviert wird dann im Frühstücksraum. Auch das Frühstück ist weit über dem Durchschnitt. Gegenüber vom Hotel ist ein Pub „The Stavely Arms“ in dem man sehr gut essen und bei schönem Wetter im Biergarten sitzen kann. Der Preis ist für deutsche Verhältnisse eher teuer, aber das lohnt sich unbedingt. Das Geld ist gut angelegt. Sollten wir mal wieder in dieser Gegend unterwegs sein, gibt es nichts zu überlegen, wo wir wieder übernachten.

Ein Kleinod vor den Toren von Ripon! Alles sehr gepflegt und liebevoll eingerichtet. Ruhige Lage, ausreichend Parkplätze auf dem eigenen Grundstück vorhanden. Die Zimmer sind sehr gemütlich; wir waren in Moors 4 - einfach nur schön! Frisch zubereitetes Full English Breakfast; alles super organisiert von Amy! Wenn wir wieder mal in diese wunderschöne Ecke Englands kommen, dann übernachten wir definitiv wieder im Old Coach House bei Amy!!

We stayed here the night of our wedding as our reception was across the road. The room was lovely, there were flowers and rose when we arrived. The staff were so friendly. Breakfast was amazing and we were able to add another person on at last minute. Thank you so much for helping make our special day one to remember and amazing. Would highly recommend and would definitely return. Sophie and Kenny x

The buildings were beautiful and plenty of parking was available. The room was large but not homely, just functional. Cleanliness wasn’t the best, there was grime on the floor around the shower and in the overflow of the sink. There were several cobwebs and spiders and a large piece of broken glass on the floor just outside our bedroom door. The layout of the bathroom was weird, with the towels hanging on the towel rail right next to the toilet. The bed was quite comfortable and there was a decent television and tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfasts were very average for a supposedly 5 star B&B. Having said all of the above - the staff were very nice and helpful. We got the feeling that the owners were not present and not sure if it had changed hands but it seemed like it was benefitting from previous awards and 5 star ratings but had gone downhill since.

Stayed for 5 nights in September. Location ideal for touring the Dales and N York Moors. Accommodation is excellent although the standard double room is a little small so would recommend the larger rooms if staying for more than an overnight. All the staff made us very welcome and breakfasts were cooked fresh each morning including the toast together with ample choice of a cold buffet of cereals, fruit etc. Rooms were made up daily on request. Would highly recommend this B & B. The pub just across the road serves good beer and food.

We stayed here for one night and enjoyed our stay very much. We were here as a gift from family members who had previously enjoyed a stay themselves. Our room was quite small but tastefully decorated with lovely complimentary toiletries and a great drinks tray. Nice hot shower and a VERY COMFY bed. Both enjoyed a good night's sleep 😴. The Breakfast was absolutely lovely. You order your selection the night before. Everything was cooked to perfection and the cold selection was good too. Excellent quality and served in a nice little Breakfast room too. We would recommend and we hope to be back ourselves sometime.

Beautiful pub very tastefully decorated with lovely peaceful gardens to sit in after eating -staff were all really friendly and helpful - food was delicious! Every mouthful a taste explosion and the cost was far less than many average pub meals you buy now

Thank you for a lovely stay, the staff are very friendly, the accommodation is very comfortable and the food is lovely is cooked fresh each morning and a great selection of options. Great place would recommend! Great location to travel around York, will definitely return in the future

Great place to stay. Luxurious room and bathroom. Breakfasts superb. Staff very friendly. Beautiful village location. Very easy access and private parking. Really soft and huge bed. Very very quiet location. Zero traffic noise. Instant hot water and great bath and shower.
