"Bhutan has been on our bucket list for a very long time and at long last we could make it with a group of very close friends. We reached Thimphu from Phuentsholing by road, which was quite a long drive and at times bumpy. The hotel reception was pretty jammed with a lot of people but we were ushered to the sofas and chairs in the lobby where we completed all check-in formalities. Front Office staff were all very courteous. The room was functional but very clean and fairly modern. Dinner at the hotel was a part of our tour package, therefore, we could taste and relish various local and Indian delicacies over our two nights stay. The location is absolutely central and as a result we could take a walk in the evening for shopping around the area after our days city sightseeing. All in all, it was a highly enjoyable experience! "

Das Frühstücksbuffet bot die von mir geschätzten Suppen und Speisen, aber natürlich für die Toast mit Marmelade-Fraktion auch alles. :-) Am Abend gab es ebenfalls Buffet - für jeden etwas - mit richtig gutem Geschmack! Die Mitarbeiter waren extrem freundlich und um unser Wohlbefinden zu jeder Zeit bemüht: ob es um den Vorschlag eines selbst kreierten Drinks in der Bar oder die Mithilfe beim Einstieg ins W-Lan ging. Wir haben uns total wohl gefühlt!"

The porch at entrance has over grown lawn with weeds in it. The hotel is still worth staying . I would recommend it ."

"Our trip to Bhutan was fantastic thanks to the friendly staff at Le Meridian Thimphu. The service was excellent and the rooms very well appointed and each day we were greeted by the friendly staff. Special mention to the restaurant staff Demi Yangden and Mon Maya for their helpful suggestions for authentic Bhutan food and their friendly smiles each time we were at the restaurant. They really made us feel at home! On arrival in Thimphu we had some issues with the local ATM, it took our Visa card and did not give us our cash. We were in a panic and really stressed out. The receptionist at Le Meridian, Ms Singay Dema came to our rescue. She contacted the bank and came in the next day ( on her time off) to help us get our Visa card from the ATM and some Bhutan money. This was exceptional service from a hotel employee. We travel extensively and Ms Dema is one of the most dedicated employees we have ever met. Once again we are very indebted to her for helping us through our emergency. We hope to return to Bhutan some day and stay at Le Meridian and will strongly recommend that our friends stay at your hotel to enjoy the kindness and professionalism that we received on our trip. Nach dem Personal; das ist, was eine Mutter kocht, wenn das Kind krank ist in Bhutan. Und sie haben ihr Abendessen überhaupt nicht gezahlt. 3/ findet es interessant zu l pflanzliches Wasser im Zimmer , das Glück erhöhen kann"
