The front desk team is top-notch, handling check-ins and check-outs with a smile that's as efficient as it is welcoming. A slight sound complain warranted a daily ""thou shall hast a shift if still there be a thump" I've got to hand it to the Housekeeping team for their attention to detail. On the second evening of my stay, I came back to my room to find a mysterious box with a sweet note on my bed. What's more, they managed to keep the linens spotless without changing them, which made my stay rash-free, especially considering my sensitive skin. The restaurant crew is not just about serving food; they're all about serving up genuine smiles and dishing out fantastic travel recommendations. To top it off, on the second-to-last day of my stay, they surprised me with a farewell cake. It was such a nice touch. I want to express my gratitude for the exceptional service your team provided. Thanks Kezang, Roshni, Ngawang, Nim & Tshering, all the pips in the photos for making my stay so memorable!

All the working staff is excellent very smiling always specially Deki Yangden was very helpfull jolly I don't remember the names of others are also good will love to Visit Le meridian Thimpu again food is verygood ovver here i love Bhutan one more in Front office Deki Tshomo who is vvery ggood

The hotel is conveniently located a stone' s throw from the Indian Embassy the staff are professional and eager to help The rooms are spacious and the Aka Care dinner was both delicious and filling Try the New York Cheese cake Kezang and Deki Tshomo deserve special mention for their professionalism and help

We stayed for 2 days at this nice property located right in the centre of lovely Thimphu. Very comfortable stay as expected, however it was made memorable thanks to some wonderful staff who went out of their way to made sure we added to the country’s gross national happiness: Pema Yangki and Tshering 2 from the restaurant, and Tenzin from Latitude. Yountan’s titbits about Bhutan was interesting and informative, and Anurag’s food was par excellence! Overall, one to come back again to!

I stayed at the LeMeridian Thimphu during my journey to magical Bhutan in March 2024. A great hotel, fantastic staff. they made me feel like I was the only guest at the hotel!! Excellent breakfast buffet. My room was so great I did not want to leave the hotel. I also had a massage and a facial at the hotel. Booth excellent. If you stay there you should try the spa especially after so much walking. the hotel manager was very hands on and made sure guests were enjoying their trip. If you go to Thimphu consider staying at LeMeridian. You will be happy you did.

The hotel is centrally located in Thimpu town. The rooms are spacious and clean. Food options for buffet breakfast were wide and the kitchen was happy to accommodate to my specific dietary restrictions. My husband and I felt warmly welcome by the staff, in particular Deki, who facilitated our hotel check-in and dining requirements. Kezang, Damchoe and Tshering (all from F&B) were also very hospitable.

This is a great place, right in the downtown, very walkable from all the major streets. The rooms are great too. What makes this hotel really really great is the staff, though. Our special thanks to Deki Yangden and Tashi Lhaden at the front desk for making us feel so welcome, to our housekeeper Sonam for the amazing gesture of arranging a foot soak for us, for the entire restaurant staff for the great service, especially Dampai Wangchuk, Deki, Chefs Sukraj and San*** Bidha (her Thukpa is the best!) - last but not least to Chef Anurag - the food in the restaurant here is one of the best we’ve eaten. We will definitely stay in Le Meridien when we visit Thimphu next.

We had booked this hotel via our travel agent as a part of the tour package. And we were not disappointed! From check in to check out the entire experience was wonderful. Check in was a breeze. We got a traditional welcome with the hotel staff providing a white scarf along with a welcome drink & hot towels. We were explained different facilities available at the hotel and what was nearby (as we were in the center of the city and near the market). We were guided to the room which was spacious, clean and well decorated. Restaurant experience was amazing, with good quality and tasty food. We had breakfast, lunch & dinner at the restaurant and each time we had a wonderful experience. Service across the hotel was perfect and we were asked at regular intervals if we wanted anything specific and how the experience at the hotel was. The hotel is at a walking distance from the clock tower and the market. We walked down a few times. Really happy with the experience and will definitely visit again.

From check in to check out - all the stagg were always taking amazing care of us - we were a couple travelling with a toddler - they were always helping and guiding at every step and took extra care - soecial mention to Ngawang & Diki from the front desk and PR The kitchen was also outstanding and gave us what we wanted! Will surely come back
