Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe der Egnatia-Straße, unweit des Bahnhofs Thessaloniki. Die Strandpromenade und die Aussichtspunkte mit Meerblick sind fußläufig erreichbar. Das Hotel ist gut. Alle Rezeptionisten sind sehr professionell, sprechen gut Englisch und sind hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer ist zwar nicht groß, bietet aber ausreichend Platz. Das Bett ist nicht zu klein. WLAN funktioniert einwandfrei. Alles ist sauber.

酒店就在馬路邊，離海邊步行20幾分鐘，順帶逛逛市區也挺不錯，附近超市，餐飲都挺多的，酒店雖小但挺乾淨，竟然有牙刷、牙膏、拖鞋、肥皂，這在歐洲的酒店裡很少見，退房後還可以免費寄存行李，很不錯。

房間小而且很老，暖氣片不工作。 但是空調效果還不錯。衹是衞生間風扇聲音太大。 工作人員很有耐心服務很到位。總是能提供及時有效幫助。酒店很老，但是打掃很乾凈。每天都換床單毛巾。樓下24小時供應熱水和咖啡。位置非常便捷。走不遠就是海邊。平安夜還送了一袋糖果，很有愛心。非常滿意入住。

地理位置優越，市中心的老酒店，性價比很好

Zentral gelegen, sauber, freundlicher Empfang. Von hier aus kommt man sehr gut zur Promenade, aber auch in die andere Richtung zur alten Stadtfestung. Viele Cafés in der Nähe und auch „Spätis“. Die Zimmer sind ruhig. Die Lüftung der nachträglich eingesetzten Badmodule ist geräuschtechnisch etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, tut aber der Gemütlichkeit keinen Abbruch. Man sollte allerdings wissen, dass die Ablage und Aufbewahrmöglichkeiten für 2-3 Tage ok sind, für länger und damit mehr Klamotten nicht geeignet.

Service is friendly from the reception people. Central located and easy to reach points of interest. Pleasant room is pleasant and bed is firm & nice.

Originally around 100 years old, the hotel looks back on a long history in the city of Thessaloniki. Completely renovated and brought up to modern standards, the hotel has retained its traditional ambience but has been equipped with modern amenities for a comfortable stay. The room itself was spotless and tastefully decorated. The hotel is conveniently located close to bus stops, and shops and in close proximity to the city's most famous sights. All the hotel staff were polite and genuinely friendly. The luggage storage service, where you can store your luggage before check-in or after check-out, was absolutely convenient! Overall it was a remarkable stay!

The hotel is perfectly located for a short stay in Thessaloniki. You can have a breakfast in the hotel or just walk to the nearby Aristotle square and eat near the sea. Staff is very kind and helpful. Bathroom is small but it is not an issue for afew days. In conclusion: excellent value for the money. I would recommend it.

Nea Metropolis is a lovely budget hotel in a central and convenient location in Thessaloniki’s main city centre. I have stayed here numerous times and think of it as home from home. It has undergone a spruce up and some renovation during the pandemic lockdowns, and is looking good. The staff are great: friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I love this place.

We slept here for one night only. We immediately put our stuff in our room and went sightseeing. We had a quick look at the room which did not make a good impression. The bathroom was very small and was dirty, meanwhile the bedroom area was average. This is the smallest bathroom I have ever seen!!! We quickly left and did not have the chance to talk with the staff to express our complaints. We had another look at our booking and noticed that the bathroom pictures in the website are completely different from the one we had. They have different types of bathrooms for different rooms but none of them were either that small or that ugly. They are clearly trying to scam people. You book something but then end up with something completely different. We came to the room and my boyfriend went to raise the issue of the bathroom. First they told him that “oh after 7 hours u come to complain “ as if we were in the hotel the whole time. Moreover when we raised the issue of the online pictures being misleading and that we will upload the pictures of the bathroom online for other people to see the guy got super angry. His answer was “ I will ban you from booking and I hope you have a good lawyer “. This is crazy considering 1. They are wrong because they are lying on their website 2. Thinking they have such authority and that I will shut up if say they will ban me 3. Threatening seems something they have mastered through time since the guy seemed so confident. It seems that people before were also treated like us. The next morning we left our room and had to hand in our card. When we went to the service desk the guy did not say a single word, either good morning or good bye. While we were talking he even ignored looking at us. This was funny and ugly at the same time, so I told him that its not okay to behave like this with your guests, to which he responded “what do you mean” and we just left. We did not pay an extraordinary amount to stay in this hotel, but it is definitely not of the standard that it claims to have. There is no parking at all in these streets and the hotel only has 2 parking spaces. Moreover you have to take stairs to the elevator (??), one of the people helped us when we came with one of our suitcases but when we left they did not of course because they considered us the “bad” people since we simply raised the issue that we felt deceived. I slept terribly in this place, both because of the stress that the service desk guy caused me but also because I was afraid something would happen to our car during the night. I would NEVER stay in this hotel ever again and I would advise no one to else to.

La struttura è datata ed è stata "rinfrescata" sembra abbastanza di recente. Posizione ottimo per visitare la città ma al contempo tranquilla, io ho dormito bene tutte le notti. Colazione buona, camere e bagno piuttosto piccoli ma per soggiorni brevi vanno bene. Pulizia perfetta, tutto.il personale gentile ed efficiente. Considerando il prezzo una scelta felicissima.
