A small luxury hotel in the middle of everything.
Comfy beds, pillows, a great breakfast. There is also a indoor paid parking place next to the hotel. ( 20 euro daily)
One minus:
Our room had a connection room door to the next room,
you hear your neighbours’s talk, shower etc.

Das Hotel ist ein Traum. Es hat den Charme längst vergessener Zeiten. Das Personal ist superlieb und sehr aufmerksam.

Vi bokade en juniorsvit och ett classic rum. Båda superfina och vägg i vägg vilket var bra då vi är en familj. Juniorsviten vette mot en pytteliten innergården. Kändes tråkigt och framförallt kunde man inte sitta på balkongen pga ljudet från alla aircon aggregat. Gjorde inte så mycket för oss då vi bara stannade en natt.

OMG, the music in the breakfast room was punishing and left us all in foul moods.

The Excelsior has to be the nicest hotel in Thessaloniki. Great attention to detail in all aspects; service, design, …. Location is right in the heart of the posh downtown area. Excellent breakfast buffet spread plus custom made options.
