Newer area of the Hilton Waikaloa, definitely recommended for families. All the amnesties and kitchen tools are provided. Hotel was perfect for our family getaway.

I recently stayed at the Hilton and unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory.
Location:
The hotel's location is far from ideal for those looking to explore local shopping and dining options. It is situated quite a distance away from any major shops or restaurants, which made it inconvenient to access basic amenities and enjoy the local cuisine.
Check-In and Reception:
The front desk service left much to be desired. The staff did not provide any advice or recommendations regarding nearby shopping or dining options, which added to the frustration of the hotel's remote location.
Parking:
The car parking situation was also inconvenient. The parking area is located far from the rooms, making it a hassle to transport luggage and belongings, especially after a long day of travel.
Room:
The room itself was spacious but had several issues. It was not bright enough, creating a somewhat gloomy atmosphere. The bathroom was small and the exhaust fan barely functioned, leading to poor ventilation. The carpet in the room was old and dusty, and to make matters worse, I encountered cockroaches running around the room, which was a significant hygiene concern.
Dining and Amenities:
The dining options and amenities at the hotel were just okay. However, the pool, which is often a highlight for hotel guests, was located far from the rooms, making it inconvenient to enjoy.
Overall, my stay at the Hilton was disappointing due to its remote location, unhelpful front desk service, inconvenient parking, and several room issues including poor lighting, small bathroom, dusty carpet, and pest problems. While the dining and amenities were passable, the overall experience was not up to the standard I expected from a Hilton hotel.
