Hotel-Gasthof Purner(Hotel Purner)

Our BA flight from Innsbruck was cancelled at the last minute. The last flight of the day so they bussed loads of us to the Gasthof Purner for an overnight stay. I’m so grateful to them for: - clean, large, quiet rooms (in traditional Austrian style) - great late night dinner of Käsespätzle - checking everyone in so efficiently - helping us all book taxis the next morning (BA were useless and no onward travel had been arranged to get replacement flights) So, all in all, they turned what could have been an awful night into a decent extra night of holiday. Thank you guys!

Aside from the location this is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The rooms are full of mold, in fact the entire second floor smells like mold. The pictures they show on the internet are nothing like the pictures in real life. All the buffet food was either gone or crusty and old or had bugs all in it and flying around it. There is no air condition so in the summer it is unbelievably hot inside and if you want to leave a door or a window open the mosquitoes will eat you alive. This hotel should be reported to a health inspector, not to mention the service is subpar. You can hear everything in your room as the walls are paper-thin and the breakfast staff was as rude as can be. She tried to pick a fight with another guest and myself as we were discussing the very disgusting quality of the food in the breakfast buffet that was actually there. I got locked out of this hotel at 2am and there was no evening staff to answer the phone so no they are not always open like they clsim. I tried to check out after being transferred to two different rioms both infested with mold but the hotel refused to refund my money. It literally made me as well as my dog ill to stay there. And yes those are bugs in the food they serve you which is days old.

The hotel was very clean and the staff friendly. It is a little out of the way and you definately need a car if you want to stay here as there is a neighbourhood. There are a couple of other restaurants nearby including a nice Italian and there is also convenience store, but be aware of local closing times and odd hours and days restaurants are open or closed for private parties. The rooms were very hot with no air conditioning (we were there in the hot month of August) so we had the windows open and there was a surprising amount of traffic in the early mornings, so it could be quite noisy. The staff were very friendly with a nice large breakfast area (that was quickly set after a wedding the night before), although there is no hot food option for breakfast. The hotel has a glamorous rustic charm to it and would recommend, but be aware of its pitfalls.

The hotel is very nice and clean with a beautiful view for mountains. But there is no privacy on a balcony because dividers between rooms' are extremely low, so you and your neighbors must hang out all together. I really hated lack of privacy on a balcony. I normally pay extra for having a balcony and nice view, but couldn't use my balcony because there were too many people sitting very close to me. Definitely, hotel needs to improve balcony experience by installing high dividers

Absolutely horrifying experience. The entire second floor smells of musty Mold coming from the bathrooms. The breakfast buffet was practically empty and what was there was stale old food or crawling with bugs. Rude staff,no one to call at night adter getting locjed out, had to sleep in my car and the hotel staff refused to refund my stay. Im trying to upload pics of the bugs crawling in the food but it wont let me this app is broken. Its stifling hot, no a/c and the front desk staff Claudia was very rude and could care less about you being comfortable. The breakfast buffet (if you can call it that) had old crusty food and 90% was missing. The lasy who was supposed to be tending to it tried to pick a fight with me and another guest discussing how disgusting the food they served us was. He recommended a good restaurant to get actual food and said his colleague cringed when he told him where he was staying. He said he worked there a couple weeks and had to leave became of the health issues. After getting locked out at 2:30 in the morning because I needed to get my charger out of the car to try to relocate through ********** I got locked out. Everyone tried to call but there was no answer and the next morning I had to wait until 5:30 AM for someone to leave the building to get back in. The hotel staff did not care and refused to give me any of my money back I had to fight for it through ******* and **********. I also had to check out a day early because I was ill from the room.

Loved staying here. I chose it because it looked like an older and authentic style (inside and out), and I was right. Hotel had good food and drinks, the staff was cheerful and nice, and there was plenty of parking in a lot. The view was stunning. It was worth the drive outside of the hustle and noise of the inner city.
