We arrived at the HotSpring Beach Resort at the end of June '23, just a week after a new General Manager had started his new role - something we found out because he was actively meeting and greeting guests and will obviously be a great asset to the resort. He is overseeing a huge number of renovations and upgrades due for completion by the end of 2023 - and so any older reviews that speak of the resort needing some attention will now likely be redundant as the place is undergoing a major - and impressive - facelift. We were thrilled by our spacious room, the fantastic hot spring pools and the excellent contrast of the icy 'chill' pool (a rarity in Thailand, where refreshingly cold water to dip in is not so common). The staff were friendly and courteous throughout, and the grounds all the way to the beach are quite wonderful. Of course, in any transformation there is always something that still needs tweaking. Our two recommendations to the resort would be to enhance the taste and the number of vegetarian options of breakfast, which was generally a little on the bland side (though we ate two a la carte dinners at the resort restaurant which were outsanding and quite delicious). The other recommendation is to keep the beach free of the relentless flow of plastic and other garbage which the sea washes up. Although this is so common everywhere, and certainly not the fault of the resort, the beach gets a daily deposit of bottles and other plastics, and it would be great to see some efforts being made to collect and tidy the beach area as it's not huge, and this would certainly be an hour well-spent. Overall, highly recommended for a stay here - it's a unique place with such relaxing waters and the sense you're in the middle of a tropical forest with secret thermal springs just waiting to be discovered. If you're there in low season of June/Jule like us, then you won't see too many other people around and you can enjoy a lot of peace and quiet. Definitely worth a visit!

Tolles Hotel für Familien mit Kindern. Geräumige Zimmer bieten Platz für eine Familie mit 2-3 Kindern. Unser Zimmer hatte zwei Betten (Kingsize und zwei Einzelbetten) und ein ausziehbares Sofa. Für Kinder gibt es vor Ort ein Spielzimmer, einen Spielplatz im Freien und ein Kinderbecken mit Rutschen. Sie können um den Teich herumlaufen und Warane und Häuser mit Kaninchen treffen. Das Hotel liegt in erster Meereslinie. Es gibt einen Swimmingpool mit Blick auf das Meer. Das Frühstück war gut - viel Obst, warme Gerichte, Müsli, Eier, Gemüse ... Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Nachteile: wenige Sonnenliegen. Hotelgäste nehmen frühmorgens die Sonnenliegen und gehen. Für diejenigen, die später zum Sonnenbaden und Schwimmen kamen, gibt es keine kostenlosen Sonnenliegen. Für die Sauberkeit 3 Bälle - es war viel Staub unter den Betten Im Großen und Ganzen waren wir mit dem Rest zufrieden

Tolles Hotel. Super sorglos Paket. Personal absolut freundlich. Egal ob es die Gärtner oder die housekeeping leute sind. Sauber bis in die kleinsten ritzen. Man freut sich wenn man etwas findet was nicht 100% klappt.Sonst könnte man denken das es nicht real ist. Bei der Strandhochzeit kamen auf uns 6 leuten min ca.10 Serviceleute. Generell sind alle sehr aufmerksam. Im Restaurant z.b. Man lässt die blicke schweifen und schaut ausversehen ein Servicemitarbeiter an kommt er/sie schon näher um bereitwillig zu helfen.

Un hôtel calme dans un cadre absolument magnifique! Les bungalow ne sont pas flambants neufs mais cela a son charme et ils restent fonctionnels. Le personnel est sympa et il y a de nombreux restaurants et bars à proximité en descendant à pieds par la plage. Nous avons adoré notre séjour: plage très proche, bon accueil, proximité de la ville, cadre idyllique.

Von der ersten Sekunde an TOP und begeistert. Wir hatten ein normales Doppelzimmer mit schöner heller Ausstattung und separatem WC und Dusche. Waschbecken ist im Zimmer untergebracht und durch einen Raumteiler getrennt. Klima / Balkon alles perfekt. Frühstück hat für jeden gepasst. Wurst / Käse auf europäischen Niveau viele Früchte und alle möglichen Thai Warmgerichte sowie frische Eierspeisen auf Wunsch. Pool ist sehr groß und mit der Swim In Bar genial gemacht. Strand direkt im Anschluss sodass man jederzeit entscheiden kann wohin man möchte. Liegen am Pool sind jederzeit verfügbar und wir hatten nie ein Problem welche zu finden. Von daher völlig zu empfehlen um einen entspannten erholsamen Urlaub zu verbringen. P.S. Die Massagen und Essensplätze gleich links am Strand sind uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen

we have now been to the third sunset resort. a small pretty hotel with a great location, great staff and very attentive employees. The terrace rooms are very good in a great location and have a priceless view of the sea. The massage on the beach is fantastically beautiful. the breakfast is ala card at the moment because there are few guests. But that's completely ok because you don't have to rely on buffet times and everyone only orders what they eat. we will return there again as it has become a home for us in Khaolak. everyone was so grateful that we were there as guests. it was a wonderful time here. 2 weeks unforgettable! Greetings from room 1203 Ivonne and Ralf Wir waren jetzt im dritten Mal im Sunset Resort. ein kleines hübsches Hotel mit toller Lage, tollem Personal und sehr aufmerksamen Mitarbeitern. Die Terrassenzimmer sind sehr gut in toller Lage und haben einen unbezahlbaren Meerblick. Die Massage am Strand ist traumhaft schön. Das Frühstück ist im Moment ala Karte, weil nur wenige Gäste da sind. Das ist aber völlig ok, da man sich nicht auf Buffetzeiten verlassen muss und jeder nur das bestellt, was er isst. Wir werden wieder dorthin zurückkehren, da es in Khaolak zu einem Zuhause für uns geworden ist. Alle waren so dankbar, dass wir als Gäste da waren. On an earlier trip we noticed this area was strangely undeveloped compared to Phuket Island. You will find yourself on a pretty deserted and relatively clean beach. Water was great, warm and calm, although on the third day some sort of stinging sea lice came in. There are some interesting-looking bungalows next door that are supposedly part of the resort, but are not featured on the website, which makes me wonder how savvy the marketing team is. Management says they were fully occupied, but we saw no evidence of it. We had the duplex suite, supposedly the only room we could reserve (although the resort seemed maybe 50% full). That suite was too large and the light switches could only be controlled from upstairs. Didn't see anyone using the plunge pools in the units with private pools...and the massive main pool was far from crowded. The fancy resort just south of Natai had only one couple staying there which would have given me the creeps unless I were trying to escape paparazzi. Everything was clean. Happy hour half-price drinks were a joke; I don't think there was any alcohol in them. Demographics during my visit, maybe 35% Russian, 30% German, some French. No other Americans. The Russians tend not to want to engage with anyone. We had a car, so we could leave the resort and explore. Might not be so fun without one because the property is solated. Excursions arranged by the hotel were pricey. I would probably drive into Phang Nga and try to negotiate something myself.

Hotel ist gut, am Meer. Einige der Dekorationen im Inneren bestehen aus Korallen. Speziell für Freunde, die Teak mögen, grundsätzlich sind die Tische darin aus Teakholz. Einschließlich Esstische in der Halle. Wie Freunde können nicht fehlen.

Sehr beeindruckt Mir wurde mitgeteilt, dass es sich um eine Hochzeitsreise handelte. habe eine Willkommensnachricht und den Raum schön gestalten Leckeres Begrüßungsgetränk Okra-Saft Es gibt ein Personal, das Sie auf Ihr Zimmer schickt. Das Hotel ist sehr groß. Und es gibt 4 Schwimmbäder mit kompletter Ausstattung. Das Zimmer ist sehr geräumig, der Pool ist komfortabel, es gibt viele Morgensymptome, der Strand ist wunderschön, aber tagsüber sind die Wellen stark Beeindruckt. Ich möchte wiederkommen.

Das Kalima ist ein sehr modernes und neues Hotel. Das war auch der Grund unserer Buchung. Die Anlage ist überschaubar und alles ist schnell erreicht innerhalb. Das Hotel befindet sich jedoch etwas ausserhalb von Khaolak. Man braucht ein Taxi oder den kostenfreien Shuttlebus vom Hotel (muss man vorher anmelden). Wir haben einen Roller gemietet im Dorf und sind immer mit diesem in die Stadt gefahren (rund 15 Minuten). Die Mitarbeiter im Kalima sind nett, jedoch nicht so wie man es von Thailand kennt, was etwas schade ist. Es gibt den Kidspool und leider nur einen richtigen Pool für Erwachsene, der eigentlich nur für diese ist, jedoch aber immer wieder Kinder spielen. Was wir so noch die erlebt haben ist, dass der Pool nicht eine Treppe hat um rein zu gehen, was wir nicht nachvollziehen können. Die Zimmer sind super gross und gut ausgestattet. Leider sind die meisten Zimmer jedoch sehr ringhörig. Das Frühstück war gut aber nicht Spitze. Für frisch gepressten Orangensaft muss man einen Aufpreis bezahlen:) Die meisten Gäste im Hotel sind Russen. Daher kann es auch etwas lauter beim Essen sein. Alles in allem ein guter Aufenthalt aber nicht Spitze.
