While my comments would echo most of the others re the cabins, food, service, etc., there were few mentions of the absolutely dark sky filled with so many stars that one could hardly seek out the constellations. I often book trips to coincide with the New Moon, especially in my trips to WY and MT where I know big skies exist. This was my first visit to Jenny Lake Lodge, although I have stayed in the other Tetons lodges as well as in Jackson. In addition to the stars and the Milky Way, the proximity to the mountains is worth the visit. Check out the photo I have included that is the view from the front porch of Chokecherry, my cabin. Not all cabins have extensive views, plus I was able to just step out onto the field in front of my porch and look up to see stars, satellites and even meteors. It was so quiet also! In talking with fellow guests, it is apparent that many return. I, too, will be returning next Sept for more New Moon skies and have already booked my cabin. Visit for the ambience, food and service, but don't forget to look up!
