Excellent place to stay Greeted by Karen on arrival really friendly and welcoming Room lovely and cosy and clean stayed in room 6 Had an evening meal which was delicious Pork Belly for me and hubby had lasagne all freshly made and tasted delicious Karen had also prebooked a taxi for later to take us into Tenby for our concert Excellent nights sleep followed by an exceptional breakfast Will definitely return as all staff so friendly and warm a lovely atmosphere

We were staying at a nearby holiday park and decided to try this pub for Sunday roast. The food here is lovely and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Try the cheesecake, it is amazing and all homemade. The prices are very reasonable so will definitely return in the future.

Excellent meal tonight of Chicken and Feta wrapped in bacon Good quality food and service. Prefer to eat here than in town where everything is typical pub food.?Desert of lemon cheesecake and ice cream delicious. Would definitely return before our holiday is over.

After struggling to book into any where for an evening meal in and around Tenby on a Friday The New Overlander accomadated our group of 9 people. The staff were warm and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The food was excellent with good vegetarian options. I would strongly recommend the steak and ale pie which was one o the best I've ever had. It was a really good end to our holiday in South Wales.

My husband and I stayed at the New Overlander for one night whilst on a business trip, we wish we could have stayed longer! We were greeted by Karen who was friendly and helpful as we were early. Our room was absolutely spotless, cosy with everything we needed. The man working in the bar/restaurant (sorry didn't get his name) was again friendly and helpful, prepared to have a chat and give us some local information etc. The meals were home cooked, plentiful and good value. If we visit this area again we would not hesitate to stay again.

Stayed here for two nights with my Husband so that we could visit the area, and we were both very pleased with our stay. Our room was very clean and nicely decorated - a welcome sanctuary to return to after long days out. The bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is very spacious and there is excellent water pressure for the shower. The freee WiFi is very welcome too. We had dinner on one of the nights and the food was very tasty and good sized portions. All of the staff are very lovely and friendly. Well done to this family run business 😊

The blonde lady serving was very frosty and rude, really poor service. We finally went to the Cross Inn Absolutely amazing great food and friendly service. Completely the opposite to the new overlander. In my opinion go to the Cross Inn 😋😋😋😋😋😋

I booked last year, reviews and pics were very goo. As a single female when pulled into the car park it looked very tatty, not a good 1st impression, I was in 2 minds whether to go into the hotel. On entry I was very impressed, the cleanliness on public area and bedroom. Overall I was very pleased with the accommodation & breakfast. The lady who serviced the bedroom and served breakfast is an asset to the business. If ever I need to visit the area I will look to book again

Very friendly staff, (Louise gets a special mention) but everyone really nice. Clean, comfortable room. Bed was comfortable. Plenty of car parking. Breakfast was excellent and we ate in the restaurant 3 evening and each time the food was well cooked, hot and very tasty. Access to the beach was a short walk away and from Penally beach it was a pleasant walk to Tenby. Lovely walks on the hill tops too.
